Summary
Aboard the speeding kidnap Sea Train carrying Nico Robin to Enies Lobby, Sanji and the masked Sniper King (Usopp in his Sogeking persona) commence “Operation Recapture Robin”: five cars remain, Robin is in one, and the plan is to methodically crush the train’s main forces without jumping the gun. On the chasing Rocketman, Nami debuts a battle outfit and her Perfected Climate Baton (Usopp’s final work before leaving the crew, now Dial-augmented), while a gloomy Luffy, Zoro and Chopper sulk over Usopp’s absence and the Franky Family ride along. A Marine warship under bone-thin Captain T-Bone rams the kidnap train and floods it with troops ordered to take “the Franky criminal” alive; the Straw Hats counter by uncoupling the rear cars, sending roughly fifty marines (and T-Bone’s boarders) adrift on the open sea. Pressing forward, Sanji and Sniper King fight through more officials; the freed, formerly-bound Franky joins in and stuns the marines by revealing he is a cyborg — bullets don’t take him down, his body has built-in weapons and steel, and he even has a fridge inside to keep his cola cold. With the rear cleared, the trio advance to Car 4, only to be blocked by Wanze, the ramen-cooking “CP7 Cooking Fighter,” who declares they must defeat him to pass.
New reveals
- Operation Recapture Robin. Sanji declares the mission underway; five cars remain, Robin is in one of them, and the crew is in Car 6 (pp. 2-3). His plan: avoid needless battles, methodically crush the main forces, and don’t get surrounded in a narrow car (pp. 3-4).
- Sniper King (Sogeking) aboard. The masked “Sniper King” — Usopp in disguise — sings his “Sniper Island” song and fights alongside Sanji (“Sniper King Exploding Star!!!”, p. 14). First on-page deployment of the persona within this chapter note’s records (Usopp departed the crew Ch. 333; he operates here masked).
- The Perfected Climate Baton. Nami’s reworked weapon: “Yeah, his final work…” — Usopp upgraded the Climate Baton with a Dial after Skypiea before he left; Nami calls it the “Perfected Climate Baton” (pp. 5-6).
- Captain T-Bone attacks. A bone-thin Marine captain in a justice coat commands a pursuing warship; he leads “Right-Angle Flash” / “Bone Soir!!” boarding charges to capture “the Franky criminal” alive (pp. 8-10). The kidnap train’s officials demand the boarders “report this to CP7!!” and exclaim “even Captain T-Bone?!” once the marines are routed (p. 15).
- Uncoupling the cars. The crew cuts the rear train cars loose, casting roughly fifty marines adrift — “that clears two cars in one sweep… we’ve cut those soldiers down by about 50” (pp. 11-13).
- Franky is a cyborg (paid off on-page). During the gun fire, Franky shrugs off bullets: “I’ve got weapons and steel built into my body… I’m a cyborg.” He has a built-in fridge “to keep my cola cold,” and reveals his front is cyborg while his back is “different” — he couldn’t reach his own back (pp. 16-17).
- Wanze, CP7 Cooking Fighter. A frizzy-haired headwaiter blocks Car 4, captioned “WANZE — CP7 Cooking Fighter,” and offers ramen made from flour kneaded in his mouth/nose (“like fishnet stockings”). He declares: “If you want to pass through this car… you must first defeat me!!” (pp. 18-19).

- How far does Franky’s cyborg modification extend — and why is only his front cyborg (he “couldn’t reach my back”)?
- Who else from the Marines / Cipher Pol guards the remaining four cars before Robin’s car?
