The seed

The chapter’s title IS the technique. On pp. 13–16 Franky braces his right arm (“Connector set…”) and fires “COUP DE VENT” — a built-in cannon that “doesn’t shoot shells [but] fires air bullets… faster than a hurricane,” leveling the entire Dock 1 yard, the bridge, and the half-built galleon. French for “gust/blow of wind,” the name fits Franky’s air-cannon physics and establishes the convention that his cyborg body has named built-in weapons. First on-page naming and demonstration.

Why this matters
