• Ch. 514 — first appearance. Luffy crash-lands here after Kuma’s scatter; found mushroom-covered by the Kuja warriors and carried to their village, where Grandma Nyon discovers he is a man.
• Ch. 515 — Luffy wakes imprisoned. The nation is revealed as a fortress city-state built into a hole in the jungle mountain (pagoda architecture, snake-patterned dress; pp. 2-3); “for some mysterious reason, only female children are born here,” and women return pregnant from the outer seas (p. 2). The men-forbidden law has held for centuries — a man here is “simply snuffed out” (p. 11). Revealed to be ruled and protected by the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock, the “Snake Princess,” and her two sisters; its finest warriors crew an all-female pirate ship (pp. 18-19). The Kuja Kikyo orders Luffy executed for the broken law.
• Ch. 516 — The island sits inside the Calm Belt, atop the giant Neptunians’ spawning ground; only the Snake Princess’s Yuda-drawn ship can safely cross to it (p. 5). Amazon Lily fields just one pirate ship (Kuja Pirates). A treaty between the Kuja and the World Government permits WG ships (with sea-prism-stone hulls, which hide them from the Neptunians) to sail only within two miles of the island (pp. 7-8). Boa Hancock and her sisters return here to their “peaceful port” by Yuda-ship after refusing the Warlord summons (p. 19).
• Ch. 517 — Kuja Castle, the tall central palace where the Empress resides, is shown; it is cleared of all people for two hours during the Snake Princess’s sacred bath (a banner reads “Bathing”) (pp. 4, 13-14). The island sat safely behind the impassable Calm Belt for centuries, but that protection now erodes as “central” ships gain Calm-Belt-crossing technology (p. 9). The exiled former Empress Gloriosa lives alone on the village outskirts (p. 11). Luffy, reasoning that “important people live in tall buildings,” slingshots himself into the castle and crashes through the bath-house roof into Hancock’s bath (pp. 17-19).
• Ch. 518 — The island’s great Coliseum / arena (under the 闘 “combat” banner) is shown, where the empress watches executions (p. 7); the creed “a nation of woman warriors — here, strength is beauty” (p. 13). Hancock petrifies the warriors who sheltered Luffy (Marguerite, Sweetpea, Aphelandra); the Kuja loose their generations-old panther executioner Bacura, whom Luffy fells bare-handed, and the Gorgon Sisters begin transforming to take his head.
• Ch. 520 — The Coliseum / arena hosts the climax of Luffy’s “war dance” duel against Sandersonia and Marigold; its perimeter is lined with iron spikes (“the railings of the coliseum”). When Luffy shields Sandersonia’s bared back to hide the “Eye of the Gorgon,” Hancock evacuates the entire arena to protect the secret — invoking the petrifaction “curse” as cover.
• Ch. 521 — Kuja Castle and the Empress’s Throne Room are shown (pp. 6-7). The island’s ruling Boa sisters were once slaves of the Celestial Dragons — a secret kept from their own people; if the Kuja saw the Hoof brands on their backs “we’d have to leave this island forever” (p. 7). The sisters were abducted at age 12 from a Kuja pirate ship (p. 14) and freed by Fisher Tiger’s raid on Marijoa. Hancock, won over by Luffy, offers to lend him her ship.
• Ch. 522 — Kuja Castle named on-page (p. 14). On his last night, Luffy is mobbed by the man-curious Kuja; the elder Grandma Nyon briefs him on Hancock’s Warlord status and Ace’s execution. The island’s empresses suffer a recurring “fatal illness” — revealed to be lovesickness — which killed the previous empresses; Grandma Nyon survived it only by leaving the island (pp. 16-19). Local specialty: “Neptunian Penne Gorgonzola” (p. 3). Amazon Lily sits in the Calm Belt, beyond reach of news gulls (p. 5).
• Ch. 523 — The Kuja see “Luffy” off at the island’s port as Empress Hancock departs to honor her Warlord summons to the war, having secured a one-time exception to dock at Impel Down (pp. 3-9). Hancock entrusts the kingdom to her sisters Sandersonia and Marigold while away (p. 8); Luffy secretly stows away aboard Vice Admiral Momonga’s battleship. Elder Nyon explains a Kuja empress who suppresses love dies of it, so by going with the man she loves Hancock saved her own life (pp. 2, 5).
• Ch. 582 — Post-War: two weeks after the Paramount War, Trafalgar Law’s Heart Pirates are granted a rare exception to the island’s men-ban to anchor in Rocky Bay and treat the recovering Luffy; Jinbei stays to nurse him. Lovesick Hancock resolves to bring Luffy a mountain of food from Kuja Castle, reined in by her sisters and Grandma Nyon (pp. 4-8). Surfaces two named sub-sites of the island: Rocky Bay (Law’s anchorage) and Kuja Castle (the central palace, already shown @0517/0521).
• Ch. 589 — Present-day bookend to the childhood flashback: on Amazon Lily (“the Island of Women, the Calm Belt, the present…”), a bandaged Luffy mourns Ace and breaks down — “Me, become King of the Pirates?! …so weak!! I’m…” (pp.18-19). (last_appearance advances → 0589.)
• Ch. 590 — Post-War (captioned “the Island of Women, the Calm Belt”): Luffy convalesces and works through his grief here under Jinbei’s watch — rampaging, then pulled out of despair when Jinbei reminds him of the crew he still has (pp.10-19). (last_appearance advances → 0590.)
• Ch. 591 — Post-War: Rayleigh arrives by swimming the Calm Belt; reunites with Gloriosa and the Boa sisters; reveal that he, Shakky and Nyon sheltered the sisters 13 years ago after their Celestial-Dragon escape. (last_appearance advances → 0591.)
• Ch. 602 — Referenced, not shown. The Straw Hats react to learning Luffy’s Warlord friend Hancock is Empress of “the legendary island of dreams populated by women” — “The island of women?! …really exists?!” (p. 10).
• Ch. 1059 — Post-Wano: the twin siege. “Weeks earlier,” Amazon Lily was besieged twice-over: first by the Navy (Koby/Helmeppo/Yamakaji with the new Seraphim) to take Hancock into custody, then by the Blackbeard Pirates seeking her Mero Mero no Mi (pp.5–15). The siege physically reshapes the island (“bold enough to change the shape of the island”, p.15); Rayleigh’s mediation ends the stand-down. No longer safe now that the Calm Belt can be crossed by Vegapunk’s Sea-Prism paddleships (p.16).
