Structural lore — the World Government’s next-generation Pacifista class , first fielded on-page at Amazon Lily in Ch. 1059 . Lunarian-bodied, child-shaped weapons modeled on the former Seven Warlords .
What we know
Ch. 1059 — first on-page appearance of the Seraphim
The Navy’s “new Seraphim Pacifistas ” debut at Amazon Lily (p.6), explicitly fielded as “a replacement for you Warlords” (p.17) — the institutional successor to the abolished Warlord system. They are child-sized cyborg weapons with Lunarian physiology — black wings, white hair, brown skin (p.9) — and Pacifista-class firepower; identified on-page as “a little kid Pacifista?!” (p.10), far stronger than the Kuma-modeled PX units. One unit is “identical to our sister as a child” (p.17, Shakky /the Kuja) — i.e. modeled on a young Boa Hancock , implying the Seraphim are templated on specific former Warlords.

Ch. 1061 — named as a deployable Vegapunk weapon asset
At Naval Branch G-14 , SWORD officers propose “we could take the Seraphim ” to assault Fullalead and rescue the captured Koby (p. 11) — the units treated as a powerful, deployable weapon asset stationed near Egghead/Vegapunk’s lab.
Ch. 1065 — first individually-named Seraphim unit shown in combat (
S-Shark , Jinbe-model)
Inside Vegapunk ’s lab a Seraphim modeled on Jinbei — S-Shark Lunarian wings, Fish-Man Karate (Sea-Serpent moves, water control) AND Pacifista laser cannons (pp. 6-14). The crew first mistake it for Jinbei / his son before realizing it is a Vegapunk-built clone-weapon. Established that the Seraphim are “still children ” whose attack patterns evolve as they grow — prompting York ’s question whether bloodline elements record an individual’s experiences (p. 15).
Ch. 1068 — three more named Seraphim mobilized (Kuma/Hancock/Mihawk models)
When CP-0 reach Egghead, three named Seraphim are deployed alongside the Jinbe-model S-Shark : the Kuma-model S-Bear — which carries the paw-paw fruit (Nikyu Nikyu no Mi ) launch/teleport power (CP-0 sacrifice their ship and fling themselves onto the island with it, p. 2, 4-5, 10; paired on-page with a flashback of the original Kuma vanishing the same way, p. 5) — plus the Hancock-model S-Snake S-Hawk Shaka ’s mobilization order (named, not clearly shown this chapter, p. 11).
Ch. 1069 — the Straw Hats clock them as Warlord-clones; the Pacifista Authority Hierarchy; CP0’s seize plan
Chopper and Robin note the dark-skinned Seraphim “resemble the old Seven Warlords Pacifista Authority Hierarchy (p. 15): government property answering Five Elders → Vegapunk → Sentomaru → Authority-Chip owners. With CP-0 holding only Authority Chips (rank 4), the Vegapunk side commands the units — the Kuma-model S-Bear S-Shark S-Hawk S-Snake Vacuum Rocket inside the Frontier Dome . Ch. 1070 — the Seraphim’s borrowed powers wielded; named the “strongest form of humanity”
The named units field their template Warlords’ powers on-page: the Hancock-model S-Snake wields the Love-Love petrification (Mero Mero no Mi , “MELLOW!!”, p. 7), escorting Luffy to the Vacuum Rocket (“Insolence!! I am only following my orders!!”) for a “much nicer Hancock” gag (p. 12); the Kuma-model S-Bear Ursa Shock ” (Nikyu Nikyu no Mi , p. 8). Vegapunk explains the underlying artificial-fruit science green blood + the user’s bloodline elements ; Logia “too difficult”) — a Seraphim’s copy of Pink ’s living-user Swim-Swim power proves the manufacture (p. 6). The Seraphim are named the next-gen Pacifista and the “strongest form of humanity ,” the reason the Seven Warlords were scrapped (pp. 5-8).
Ch. 1072 pp. 12-16 — the command hierarchy stated; the Seraphim breach the lab on their own initiative
The full command chart is shown (p. 13): Five Elders → Vegapunk → Sentomaru → Authority ChipCP0 ) — and above all, the Seraphim are “absolutely loyal to all of Im’s orders .” Carrying “just enough personality” to make their own battlefield decisions, they breach the Labophase on their own initiative when the barrier drops — without a CP0 order (pp. 12-13) — and destroy the Egghead lab / Punk Records tower with combined fire (pp. 15-16). Ch. 1075 pp. 10-14 — the Seraphim turn rogue and slaughter the lab
Inside the Labophase , the named units stop obeying the satellites: the Hancock-model unit (S-Snake ) fires Boa Hancock’s Love-Love Mellow petrification and downs York (p. 10), while the Mihawk-model S-Hawk and the Kuma-model S-Bear rampage, attacking the satellites and the cuffed CP0 alike (“S-Hawk, S-Bear, stop!! Whose orders are you following?!”). The satellites’ “I’m Vegapunk!!” commands are ignored. On-page the units are named the weapons built “to be the ultimate form of humanity ,” which the satellites admit they “can’t beat… in a fight ” (p. 12), and the assault is read as orchestrated by a hidden party holding Vegapunk-level command authority. Ch. 1077 pp. 4-15 — the Seraphim’s Lunarian augmentation explained; the sea-energy counter
Three models battle the Straw Hats across Egghead ’s lab buildings: the Kuma-model S-Bear (Building A), the Hancock-model S-Snake (Building C, Love-Love Mellow petrification), and the Jinbe-model S-Shark (“Jimbei Jr.”). On-page the units are confirmed augmented with King ’s (“Alber’s”) Lunarian blood , reproducing the brown-skin / black-wing / flame-on-back near-invincibility — attacks do no damage until the back-flames are out (pp. 6-7). Their Lunarian-derived “green blood” grants power but carries risk; sea-energy (Franky ’s Bubble Gun bubbles) is their hard counter (pp. 12-14). See Lunarians , Pacifista .
Ch. 1079 — the Seraphim’s “hidden command” was York
