Boa Sandersonia — the “Second of the Gorgon Sisters,” a Kuja Pirate and sister of the Empress Boa Hancock. Slim, with long wavy hair. With Hancock and Marigold she forms the inner leadership trio of the Kuja Pirates on Amazon Lily.

Amazon Lily — the slave past (Ch. 521)

• Referenced as “Sonia” (pp. 2, 14). With her sister Marigold she was enslaved by the Celestial Dragons as a child — abducted at age 12 from a Kuja pirate ship — and fed the Snake-Snake Fruit (Hebi Hebi no Mi, her Anaconda model) by their captors “to amuse themselves” (pp. 14, 17). Both sisters bear the Hoof brand on their backs (the “Eye of the Gorgon”).
• Freed by Fisher Tiger’s raid on Marijoa and raised afterward by Grandma Nyon. She and Marigold weep with relief that Hancock’s long-frozen heart has thawed for Luffy (p. 18).

Amazon Lily (Ch. 520) — the duel’s climax; Luffy shields the “Eye of the Gorgon”

• Fights Luffy in snake-form alongside Marigold — iron-fanged “Snake Hair Possession” / “Eight-Headed Snake” (Yamata-no-Orochi imagery), boasting he “has nowhere to run.” Luffy goes Gear Second, then knots her snake-tail to Marigold’s so the two sisters yank each other toward the spiked arena wall (p. 14).
• When Marigold’s fire burns the clothes off her back and she falls toward the spikes, Luffy catches her and — rather than kill her — presses against her bared back to conceal the “Eye of the Gorgon” (the mark she would die before revealing). Amazon Lily (Ch. 519) — the arena “war dance” vs. Luffy; Devil Fruit named

• Duels Luffy in the Kuja arena alongside Marigold; her Devil Fruit is named on-page: the Snake-Snake Fruit, Anaconda Model (Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model Anaconda) (p. 2). Fights in snake-form, using Haki to read and dodge Luffy’s every move (“with the power of Sandersonia’s Haki, she can dodge anything,” pp. 10-12). See Haki.
