• “Mistress Perona” has her underlings ransack the Thousand Sunny (almost no treasure) and registers that it is the ship of “the man who defeated Crocodile” (p. 7).

• Reappears flying — “I’m the Ghost Princess, idiot!” Perona floats in the air, stunning Usopp who thought she “could only manipulate ghosts.” The chapter ends on the anomaly (“Something’s gone wrong!!!”) — a tell that the Horo-Horo no Mi does more than conjure ghosts, setting up her one-on-one vs. Usopp (p. 20). Thriller Bark (Ch. 465) — loses her duel with Usopp; astral-projection trick exposed

• Loses her duel with Usopp. Her Negative Hollow has no effect on him (he is already maximally negative), which rattles her into running early (pp. 2-3).
• Reveals her core trick: the “Perona” fighting Usopp is an out-of-body astral projection (ghost form) — it can pass through anything and deals no physical harm. Her threat to reach in and crush his heart is a bluff; her hands pass through him without wounding (pp. 6-9).

• Her Horo-Horo no Mi is fully demonstrated: she has fought Usopp the entire time as a soul-projected ghost duplicate while her real body hides elsewhere; the duplicate can change size, phase through walls and people, and fly (pp. 2-4).

Thriller Bark (Ch. 472) — deserting Moria

• Loots Thriller Bark’s treasure and food (a full refrigerator) and tries to flee the collapsing island: “There’s no way I’m staying if my life is in danger! I only joined with Master Moria for fun!” (pp. 18–19). Her looting is why Nami finds the treasure chamber EMPTY. Her animal underlings (who mistake the intruder for “a bear”) are the ones who first meet Bartholomew Kuma.

Thriller Bark (Ch. 473) — vanished by Kuma

• Having refused her forced wedding to Absalom (“I’m not going to marry that pervert!!”), Perona plans to flee with the Straw Hats’ stolen treasure and the Sunny (pp. 10-11). She confronts Nami, boasting her “mini hollow army” and that her only weakness is “that no-good long nose” (Usopp) (p. 11).
• Confronted by Kuma, she initially panics, then attacks with Negative Ghost + Special Hollow “ultimate combo” (p. 15) — to no effect.
