  • OARS — carrying Luffy's stolen shadow — manifests Luffy's exact personality and ambition: he climbs the mast and declares he'll 'take this ship and become the pirate king' (p. 7). His giant frame is 'twice as big as a giant' and his arm is branded 'SZ-8009' (Special Zombie classification) (pp. 2, 16).
  • PERONA is named the 'Ghost Princess'; her Negative Hollow ('Negative Thoughts') ghosts make whoever they touch deeply depressed — they instantly down Luffy and Sanji, and the crew has no counter (pp. 11, 15).
  • ABSALOM is staging a forced WEDDING to Nami, set to begin within the hour; most of the zombie generals are attending the ceremony, leaving Moria short-handed and furious (pp. 10-12).
  • The Straw Hats set a hard strategic deadline — they are only safe while it is night, so SUNRISE is the final deadline to beat Moria and reclaim every stolen shadow (pp. 5-6).
  • USOPP invents the 'Zombie Death Salt Ball' — packaged salt to force into zombies to purify them — and the crew splits into groups aimed at Moria, Perona, and the wedding (pp. 5, 14).

Summary

The Straw Hats finalize their counterattack on Thriller Bark. Robin lays out the priorities — rescue Nami, back up the skeleton’s battle, then defeat Gecko Moria — and warns that since the zombies are only safe at night, sunrise is their final deadline to reclaim every stolen shadow. Luffy vows to kick Moria “above the fogline,” Sanji rages at the news Absalom means to marry Nami (and peeked at her in the bath), Zoro itches to test the legendary samurai zombie, and Usopp hands out his “Zombie Death Salt Balls.” On the deck, the giant zombie Oars — animated by Luffy’s stolen shadow — climbs the mast and declares he’ll seize the ship and become the Pirate King, mirroring Luffy’s exact ambition. Moria, hearing the captured pirates have already woken their crewmates, orders the zombie generals deployed, only to learn most are attending Absalom’s wedding; he sends Perona, the “Ghost Princess,” to capture the intruders with her marionettes while he stays to “play with Oars.” As the crew storms inward and splits up, Perona’s Negative Hollow ghosts touch Luffy and Sanji and crush them into groveling depression with no available counter, forcing a retreat — and then Oars’s rampage smashes the towers and stairs out from under everyone, collapsing the structure and dropping the crew into chaos.
