- PERONA'S WONDER GARDEN is named (pp. 1, 15): a vast walled forest-garden at the back of Hogback's mansion, populated by stitched 'wild zombie' animals and patrolled by 'surprise zombies'; a giant passageway/bridge connects the mansion to an even LARGER building on the far side (pp. 10-11) — Nami deduces the captives were being ferried there 'to get turned into zombies.'
- PERONA commands the operation (p. 6): she orders a coffin delivered 'to master at the dance hall,' dispatches a crew to 'collect their treasure,' and announces she will personally go to the Straw Hats' SHIP; she berates her bear-zombie servant KUMACY for talking ('you're much cuter when you don't talk').

Summary
Deep inside Thriller Bark, the lion-man Absalom rallies his zombie “generals” — including the reanimated dead pirate Captain John — to hunt down the Straw Hat intruders, while the lovesick warthog zombie Lola pesters him for marriage. Absalom rebuffs her: he has already chosen a living bride, “one of the pirates that entered the island” — Nami — and the spurned Lola storms off to kill her rival. Elsewhere, Perona directs the operation, sending a coffin “to master at the dance hall,” dispatching looters to the Straw Hats’ ship, and scolding her bear-zombie Kumacy. The Risky Brothers fumble and drop their coffin, waking Nami, Usopp, and Chopper, who find themselves outside at the back of the mansion. They realize a huge garden-forest — Perona’s Wonder Garden — and a giant passageway lead to an even bigger building where they were to be turned into zombies. Surrounded by stitched “wild zombie” animals (and the looming Kumacy), the trio are attacked; Lola arrives to pulp Nami, but a “newcomer” zombie suddenly intervenes, declaring he will never strike a woman. Meanwhile, Luffy, Robin, and Franky interrogate the pig-zombie Oinkchuck and realize Zoro has also vanished. (Vol-47 SBS bonus: three Enies Lobby Marine captains’ Devil Fruits are revealed.)
