Summary

A round-the-world tour of where Kuma scattered the Straw Hats. Usopp wakes on Bowin Island (Grand Line), saved from a man-eating plant by a beetle-helmeted warrior named Heracles. Brook crashes onto Lazy Bones Island, where the impoverished nation of Hungeria has summoned “the Demon” with black magic to win their grudge against the Longarm Tribe — Brook’s only request is to see their panties. Nico Robin lands among the slaves of Tequila Wolf in the East Blue, chained to a 700-year-old World Government bridge project. Chopper drops into the Birdie Kingdom of the South Blue, a “Treasure Island” where giant birds rule over people and want to make him into reindeer stew. Zoro plummets onto Gloom Island — the Ruins of the Muggy Kingdom — where Perona, herself a survivor of Kuma’s scatter, gloats over his near-death and confiscates his swords. Meanwhile Luffy stows away in Hancock’s cabin aboard the Kuja ship bound for Impel Down to rescue Ace; only six days remain until the execution. With Whitebeard’s surveillance ships destroyed and the Marines and Seven Warlords mobilizing at Marineford and Marijoa, the coming war has become unstoppable.
