St. Sommers — the immortal Shepherd-family Holy Knight — is shown at God Valley ~38 years ago, corroborating Holy-Knight longevity. He captures the prize Shakuyaku and, on Garling’s behalf, resolves to murder her rather than let a rescuer take her (“If you don’t say anything, it goes in the books as an accident!!” / “This ain’t no fairy tale!!”). He is cut down by Rayleigh’s “Spider Lily Steel” (pp. 14–18). (recent-chapter; flashback appearance — HOLD scalars.
