Summary
A horned, white-maned, dark-skinned figure trailing black flames, floating arrows and a halo-ring of disembodied eyes descends on the Western Village battlefield while the demonized giants sing in welcome (“DORORON DADAN ♪ AWOO AWOO ♪,” pp. 2–3). Her first words: “Who is… the king of this land?” — “This land has no king!!” the giants answer, while one horrified veteran gasps “GREAT ONE!!” (p. 3). Sommers — alive after being devoured by the Nidhoggr dragon — severs Gerd’s fingers to escape her grip (“SNIK SNAK,” “Gerd’s fingers!! How gruesome!!”); the Great One asks mildly, “What art thou doing, Sommers?” (p. 4). Stansen (“Are you in the Knights of God too?!”) is cut down, Hajrudin’s punch is effortlessly answered (“We don’t know what he can do!!” — “SLASH!!” “Stansen!!,” pp. 5–6), and Zoro’s “King of Hell, Three Sword Serpent: Purgatory Onigiri” is stopped cold (“KACHIIING!!”) before he is smashed into the ground (“ZOLO!!!,” pp. 7–8). Black flame rings — “Omen” — bloom over the battlefield (“Aaah, YESSS!! OMEN!!” a demon rejoices; “What are these black flames?!,” p. 9). Enthroned midair inside her eye-ringed halo, she orders the kneeling Sommers: “Make haste, Sommers… There is little time” (p. 10). An island-wide broadcast warns all Elbaf that “some kind of being GREATER than the Knights of God… has landed on the island!!” as she flies off on huge black wings (p. 11); she pauses at a lone standing stone on a root-bound mound, and a detonation (“BAKOOOM!!”) erupts behind her as she flies on (p. 12). At the lift, Gaban mutters, “Even at God Valley, I never felt Haki like this” (p. 13); at Walrus School survivors eat and brace (“Now stockpile your energy!! I think we’ve got a real monster on the island now…”). She crushes a demon that leaps gratefully at her (“Thank you for the OMEN!!” — “GREAT ONE!!” — DOOOM, p. 14), then turns on Loki — “Who said you could release him?!!” — battering and electro-zapping him (“ZZAP!!,” p. 15) and stomping her target down as an explosion nearly catches Sanji (“Sanji?! NO!!,” pp. 15–16). “Hey!! What do you want with Elbaph?” — her answer: “I search for the killer… of my faithful servant Harald… who was slain here 14 years past.” Loki, black flames licking his arm: “He was not your servant!! HARALD WAS MY FATHER… THE KING OF ELBAPH!!!” (p. 16). Then, under a lightning-split sky, a colossal giant dressed in Harald’s own regalia looms over her: “And I’m the man you’re looking for!!… Here in the real world, you deal with me!! And ELBAPH!!! REMEMBER THAT, CLOWN!!” To be continued. (p. 17)
New reveals
- The “Great One” has come to Elbaf in person. The island broadcast: “Some kind of being GREATER than the Knights of God… has landed on the island!! Be on guard!!” (p. 11). The demonized giants sing to welcome her (p. 2); Sommers kneels and takes orders directly from her — “Make haste, Sommers.” / “Y…yes, Great One!!” / “There is little time.” (p. 10). (She is never named “Imu” or “Gunko” on-page this chapter — identification runs through Ch. 1174’s “Great Imu is inside of her now”; the arrow-tipped tail and floating arrow shapes continue Gunko’s Arrow-Arrow motif. Verify against 1178–1179.)
- Harald was “her faithful servant” — and she wants his killer. “I search for the killer… of my faithful servant Harald… who was slain here 14 years past.” (p. 16). On-page timeline datum: Harald’s death = 14 years before present. Loki’s furious denial: “He was not your servant!! Harald was my father… the King of Elbaph!!!”
- Her power dwarfs the Holy Knights. She no-sells Hajrudin’s punch, cuts down Stansen, stops Zoro’s “King of Hell, Three Sword Serpent: Purgatory Onigiri” cold and smashes him down (pp. 5–8); Gaban: “Even at God Valley, I never felt Haki like this.” (p. 13).
- “Omen” = her black flames. Chapter-title drop, spoken on-page: “OMEN.” (p. 7); rings/licks of black flame settle over demons and targets. The demons welcome them (“Aaah, YESSS!! OMEN!!” p. 9; “Thank you for the OMEN!!” p. 14) — and are destroyed anyway. Loki is marked too (“What are these black flames?!” p. 16).
- Sommers lives. After being consumed by the Nidhoggr dragon (Ch. 1175, fate then ambiguous), he is back on-page — escaping Gerd’s grip by shearing off her fingers (p. 4) and dispatched on an urgent errand by the Great One (p. 10).
- Cliffhanger challenger. A colossal giant in King Harald’s regalia — horned helm, white mane and beard, spotted tunic with the round crest-buckle, fur mantle, massive spiked club — declares: “And I’m the man you’re looking for!!” (i.e., the killer she seeks) ”…Here in the real world, you deal with me!! And Elbaph!!! Remember that, clown!!” (p. 17). Not named on-page.

Notable panels
- p. 1 — Title page. Reader request: “Vegapunk modifying Zeus to rain candy instead of water” by Honeylicker (Chopper weeping in a candy downpour; Nami catching sweets). Monochrome, decorative — not a cover-story serial, not a color spread.
- pp. 2–3 — Arrival composition: the Great One looms in extreme foreground (skull-and-horn ornaments, black flames) over the singing demons and the black ramp-road; “Who is… the king of this land?” Her face reveal: ringed eyes, horns, white mane, disembodied eyes floating in the black flame above. (mirror candidate — Imu eye-grammar.)
- p. 10 — She floats cross-legged inside a halo-ring of eyes, trident-staff planted, Sommers kneeling below: a divine-audience composition. (mirror candidate.)
- p. 11 — Winged flight spread over Elbaf’s forest as the island-wide warning plays. (mirror candidate — Gunko’s winged ultimatum @1172.)
- p. 12 — The lone standing stone on a root-bound mound; “KCHUNK…”; BAKOOOM detonation behind her as she flies on.
- p. 14 — The grateful demon (“Thank you for the OMEN!!”) slammed into a black-flame crater — DOOOM.
- p. 17 — Cliffhanger splash: the colossal giant in Harald’s regalia under storm-lightning (“DOOM!! RMBL… CRAK!!”), the tiny winged Great One facing him; dueling eye close-ups — “REMEMBER THAT, CLOWN!!” (mirror candidate — monster-arrival page-grammar; Harald silhouette re-key.)
Open questions raised
- Who is the colossal giant claiming “I’m the man you’re looking for”? (Wears Harald’s regalia; horned like the Ancient-Giant royal line; unnamed on-page. A shield-claim to protect Loki? A restored elder? Something stranger?)
- What are the “Omen” black flames mechanically — and why do the demonized giants welcome them as a blessing right before being destroyed?
- What errand did the Great One dispatch Sommers on — “there is little time” until what?
- What is the standing stone she visited (Harald’s grave-marker? a seal?), and what detonated there?
- What does “Here in the real world, you deal with me” mean — rhetoric, or a tell about Elbaf’s three-worlds cosmology?
- Where are Luffy (Gear 5/”Nika”) and the Nidhoggr dragon form this chapter — and why has Loki reverted to his humanoid form?
- Whom did she punch while demanding “Who said you could release him?!!” — and is “him” Loki, or the Nidhoggr within him?
