Mythical Zoan (Model: Niddhoggr) · current: Prince Loki
Profile
The Treasure of Elbaf — a forbidden Mythical Zoan named on-page (Ch. 1175 p.12: “The Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Mythical Type, Model: Niddhoggr”). Its eater becomes “the largest dragon in the world,” an obsidian dragon that breathes lightning and “is so vast that day falls into night when it flies.” Uniquely, the max size of the beast scales with the eater — a giant, or an ancient giant, eating it “instead of a human” extracts the fruit’s potential in far greater measure (p.12). This is the legendary Devil Fruit “passed down through the Elbaf royal line”; its current wielder is Prince Loki (the elder confirms the dragon “must be Loki,” p.11). Loki has Ancient-Giant blood (horns confirmed real @1143), consistent with the vast scale shown.
⚠ DISTINCT from Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model Kirin (Killingham) — two different Mythical-Zoan models; do not confuse or merge.
User chain
| Order | User | How they acquired it | First use | Death/lost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Prince Loki | The Elbaf royal line’s legendary fruit; the Guardian Hammer Ragnir “has finally chosen” him (Ch. 1175 pp.13–14) | Ch. 1175 (dragon form on-page) |
- Guardian note: the fruit was kept uneaten for an eternity, guarded by the Guardian Hammer Ragnir (“Iron Lightning”), which “blocks” anyone who tries to eat it (Ch. 1175 pp.12–13). Ragnir “has finally chosen” Loki (pp.13–14).
Named techniques
| Technique | JP / romaji | Etymology | First use | User |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Thorheim | hammer strike — Thor + -heim (Norse); may be Ragnir’s technique rather than the fruit’s | Ch. 1175 p.17 | Prince Loki + Ragnir | |
| Ragna Quint-Arrow | Ragna- (Ragnarök) + five-projectile volley | Ch. 1182 p.4 | Prince Loki (dragon form) | |
| Ragna Dual…heim | Ragna- (Ragnarök) + dual + -heim (Norse; -heim set: Nibelheim @1171, Thorheim @1175) | Ch. 1183 pp.3–4 | Prince Loki (dragon form) |
- “Ragna Dual…heim” (Ch. 1183 pp. 3–4) — diving hammer-strike as the dragon; erupts in a black geyser against Imu. (-heim set: Nibelheim @1171, Thorheim @1175.)
- Ch. 1181 — Loki re-assumes the dragon mid-duel with Imu’s descended form (pp. 14–15) and fires “Thorheim” (p. 15; first used @1175). Humanoid-form techniques this chapter (Ragna Izuchi, wing-bite, the mid-air slam) shown WITHOUT full transformation — hybrid/partial usage unclear, do not pin.
- Ch. 1182 — “Ragna Quint-Arrow”; aerial duel. First named attack in the form: “RAGNA QUINT-ARROW!!!” (p. 4) — a five-projectile volley launched in the dive, paired with dragonfire, against the horned superior. The enemy addresses the form directly: “NIDHOGGR…” (p. 2), and pairs it with Ragnir/Ratatoskr: “thy affinity for one another was always great” (p. 3) — the Yggdrasil-bestiary pairing (Ratatoskr ferries between the eagle above and Níðhöggr below). See Squirrel-Squirrel Fruit, Model Ice Squirrel Ratatoskr.

Power limits & weaknesses
- The dragon’s maximum size corresponds to the eater (Ch. 1175 p.12) — a human eater yields far less of the fruit’s potential than a giant / ancient giant.
Lore & theories
- Legend: per Elbaf myth (Warrior God of Elbaf), a Warrior God wielded Ragnir and “turned into an enormous dragon to face off against the Sun God” (Sun God Nika), alongside the ice squirrel Ratatoskr.
- Cross-link Nature of Devil Fruits — the eater-size-scaling mechanic is the first explicit statement that a Zoan’s power output scales with the eater’s body/species.
- Naming-payoff of Loki Killed King Harald For The Elbaf Royal Lines Legendary Fruit / Rocks Sought a Devil Fruit on Elbaf That Only Unlocks If Harald Eats It; see also The Treasure of Elbaf Is a World-Ending Forbidden Devil Fruit (confirmed @1175) and Ragnir Is Thors Mjolnir And Its Squirrel Is Ratatoskr (confirmed @1175).
- Etymology flag : Niddhoggr ← Norse Níðhöggr, the dragon that gnaws the roots of Yggdrasil — fits Elbaf’s Norse/Yggdrasil overlay.
