Summary
The Paramount War’s aftermath ripples across the world. News of Whitebeard’s defeat and the Navy’s victory is broadcast everywhere; the Eleven Supernovas watch from the bay and from afar, reading the start of “a turbulent new era” now that the balance among the Emperors — Shanks, Kaido, Big Mom (and the rising Blackbeard) — has been tipped. Whitebeard’s worldwide declaration that the One Piece is real spreads and reignites the Great Pirate Era, while a power vacuum lets opportunists like the imitator “Brownbeard” seize Whitebeard’s former protectorates. At sea, Trafalgar Law’s submarine surfaces beside Boa Hancock’s commandeered ship; Law has operated on the gravely wounded Luffy, who briefly wakes in anguish over Ace before blacking out again. Hancock offers Luffy shelter on Amazon Lily under her Warlord protection and tows the sub across the Calm Belt; the Impel Down/New Kama escapees ride along, cheering Luffy. At Marine HQ, the Impel Down report lands: Magellan is near death, Level 6 is a shambles, and — appallingly to the officers — the Government orders the mass escape covered up to protect its image.
