Firsts
  • Rayleigh reveals the Roger Pirates learned the ENTIRE True History of the blank 100 years (begun 900 years ago) — 'We learned about everything that occurred'; 'we and those at Ohara were too hasty' (pp. 5-6).
  • Roger did NOT decipher the ancient language — he 'was able to hear the voices of all things in the world,' which let him understand the Poneglyphs (pp. 6-7). First on-page description of the Voice of All Things.
  • Robin asks Rayleigh point-blank 'What is the Will of D?'; Rayleigh visibly reacts but is interrupted before answering (pp. 4-5).
  • Luffy asks whether One Piece 'is really at the last island'; Rayleigh knows the answer, but the crew REFUSES to be told — they choose to find it themselves (pp. 7-9).
  • Luffy's thesis on the Pirate King: 'I'm not going to conquer anything. The one who is the most free... is the Pirate King!!!' (p. 9).
  • Rayleigh gives the crew his Vivre Card (Shakky had kept it) so they can reunite; it will also guide them to Fish-Man Island. Coating the Sunny takes three days; deadline set at three evenings from now (pp. 10-12).
  • Rayleigh confirmed as a member of Roger's crew — the 'Oro Jackson,' the ship Tom built and died defending — and 'the most famous' of Roger's crew (p. 13).
  • Admiral Kizaru arrives at Sabaody (Grove 27); his real name is BORSALINO; he wields a light power (light-speed movement, fires light beams, shrugs off a point-blank headshot) and devastates a swath of the Yarukiman Mangrove (pp. 14-19).
  • Kizaru is searching for his subordinate SENTOMARU (first mention; not shown) (p. 15).
  • Supernovas active at Sabaody as Kizaru attacks: Jewelry Bonney (ages Marines into children / old men), Capone 'Gang' Bege, Scratchmen Apoo, and Basil Hawkins ('Today... I will not die') (pp. 17-19).

Summary

At Shakky’s Rip-off Bar, Rayleigh — the coating craftsman who turns out to be the most famous surviving member of Roger’s crew — agrees to coat the Thousand Sunny (three days’ work). Robin and Luffy press him with the series’ biggest questions: Robin asks what the Will of D. is and how Roger read the Poneglyphs, while Luffy asks whether One Piece truly sits at the last island. Rayleigh reveals the Roger Pirates already learned the complete True History of the Void Century — and that Roger never deciphered the ancient script but could “hear the voices of all things in the world.” He offers to tell the crew everything, including where the treasure is; Robin declines and the crew loudly refuses, insisting on discovering it themselves — Luffy declares the Pirate King is simply “the most free.” Rayleigh hands them his Vivre Card (kept by Shakky) so they can regroup and reach Fish-Man Island, setting a three-day deadline. Meanwhile, Admiral Kizaru (real name Borsalino) lands at Grove 27 hunting his subordinate Sentomaru, casually devastating the mangrove and scattering Supernovas (Bonney, Bege, Apoo, Hawkins) with a light-based power.
