- The claim
- The 'Voice of All Things' Rayleigh names @0507 is not a one-off Roger quirk but a named, recurring faculty that is the true mechanism for reading Poneglyphs (bypassing the lost ancient script entirely) and that marks the Pirate-King lineage / Joy Boy succession. Forward, expect: (a) the ability to be re-named and re-shown as a discrete power tier, distinct from scholarly decipherment (Robin's route); (b) it to connect Roger -> Joy Boy / the ancient text-makers as a shared channel of communion with the world (and with creatures such as Zunesha / the Sea); and (c) Luffy — the boy who 'speaks Roger's exact words' (@0506) — to manifest the same faculty, which is how he, not the scholars, ultimately completes Roger's reading of the True History at the final island.
The claim
This is the reading-mechanism reading. It is distinct from the three already-filed One-Piece predictions (see Notes / non-dupe below).
Reasoning
Converging techniques (each by name + chapter, ≤507 only)
Four independent technique-channels land on the same compound claim across the Sabaody Rayleigh sequence — well past the 3+ ripeness floor:
- chekhov-explicit. Rayleigh names the faculty on-page for the first time Ch. 507 pp. 6-7: Roger could “hear the voices of all things in the world,” and that — not decipherment — is how he read the Poneglyphs. Oda installs a discrete, re-usable mechanic with a deliberate hedge (“That’s all”), the textbook shape of a seed meant to recur. See Roger Heard The Voice Of All Things, Voice of All Things.
- dialogue-from-dead-character / dialogue-from-witness. The reveal reaches the page only because the last surviving eyewitness to the Roger era narrates it — Silvers Rayleigh, Roger’s first mate (Ch. 500 debut, Ch. 506 self-identifies and narrates the true history). A secret of the world’s most-watched dead man, delivered by the one man left who saw it, is Oda front-loading a load-bearing premise. See Silvers Rayleigh Dark King Roger First Mate Debut.
- parallel-arc-structure. Rayleigh explicitly couples Roger and Luffy: Shanks told Rayleigh of “a kid speaking Roger’s exact words” (Ch. 506 pp. 16-17), and the Roger↔Luffy structural mirror has been building since the Loguetown laugh-before-execution (Ch. 99). The faculty is planted on the predecessor in the exact scene that re-asserts the successor’s structural identity to him. See Shanks Told Rayleigh Luffy Speaks Rogers Exact Words.
- prop-tell (the straw hat as inheritance token). Rayleigh is drawn to Luffy’s straw hat and sought him out for it (Ch. 503 p. 19, “That straw hat… I’ve wanted to meet you”); the hat is the Roger-era inheritance artifact (carried Roger-crew → Shanks → Luffy). The inheritance the hat encodes is the same lineage the Voice-of-All-Things faculty travels down. See Rayleigh Recognizes Luffys Straw Hat.
- visual-silhouette (supporting). The series’ opening Roger execution-speech composition is re-keyed beat-for-beat as Rayleigh narrates the truth behind it (Ch. 1 → Ch. 506, Roger Execution Speech Composition Rekeyed By Rayleigh Narration) — the Rayleigh truth-telling is staged as the authoritative gloss on the series’ first image, the frame the Voice-of-All-Things reveal sits inside.
Four-plus converging channels on one compound claim ≈ 0.7. Held below 0.8 because the Luffy-carries-it clause is forward-canon (uncaptured at frontier 507): @0507 plants the faculty on Roger, and the Luffy-manifestation / Joy-Boy-channel payoff lands later (the Zunesha / “voice” beats are post-timeskip). The mechanism exists and is recurring sub-claim is near-certain on the explicit naming alone.
Resolution
2026-06-15 — Status: partially-confirmed via Ch. 648 (p. 5).
What happened: At Ch. 648 the Sea Kings note that “that human with the hat… seemed to notice our voices,” and that this “did happen once before” — the panel cutting to Silvers Rayleigh, who hears the same voice in the dead-silent deep. This is Luffy’s first on-page manifestation of the faculty: he hears creatures of the world (the Sea / the Neptunians) that others cannot, explicitly paralleled to the prior wielder. The clause the prediction priced as forward-canon and most-risky (clause 3 — Luffy carries the faculty) gets its first concrete on-page beat, and clause 2’s communion with creatures such as the Sea leg is directly hit.
What we got right / wrong: Right: that the Voice of All Things is a recurring faculty (not a one-off Roger trait) and that Luffy is a bearer — both shown on-page. Not yet settled: it is shown, not re-named here (“Voice of All Things” / Roger are not spoken in this beat — the chapter note flags them as forward), and the terminal payoff (Luffy completing Roger’s reading of the True History at the final island via the faculty) is still uncaptured. So this is a half-confirmation, not a full one — the faculty-recurs + Luffy-bears-it core is on-page; the Poneglyph-reading-mechanism endgame remains a long-burn forecast. Holding at partially-confirmed.
Confidence calibration check: We filed at 0.7; in retrospect this was well-calibrated — the 0.7 hold (vs 0.8) was explicitly attributed to the Luffy-manifestation clause being forward, and that clause has now begun to pay off exactly as projected (first manifestation = hearing sea-creatures, paralleled to the prior wielder), neither faster nor slower than the discount implied.
2026-07-29 (re-score @1189) — Held at partially-confirmed. The faculty’s recurrence and inheritance keep accruing support (Big Mom’s poneglyph-reader design Ch. 853; Oden hearing the stone’s voices Ch. 966–Ch. 967), but the terminal clause — Luffy completing Roger’s reading of the True History at the final island via the faculty, with the ability named for him as it was for Roger — is still forward; the crew has not reached Raftel. No falsifier fired: the Voice of All Things remains a recurring, inherited channel rather than a one-off Roger trait.
Supporting evidence
- Ch. 507 — Rayleigh names the faculty on-page for the first time: Roger could “hear the voices of all things in the world,” and that, not decipherment, is how he read the Poneglyphs.
- Ch. 506 — Rayleigh self-identifies and narrates the true history, and relays that Shanks told him of “a kid speaking Roger’s exact words,” coupling Roger and Luffy.
- Ch. 500 — Silvers Rayleigh debuts as the last surviving eyewitness to the Roger era.
- Ch. 503 — Rayleigh is drawn to Luffy’s straw hat and sought him out for it, the Roger-era inheritance artifact.
- Ch. 1 — The series’ opening Roger execution-speech composition, re-keyed as Rayleigh later narrates the truth behind it.
- Ch. 99 — The Roger-Luffy structural mirror building since the Loguetown laugh-before-execution.
What would refute this
- The Voice of All Things is a one-off Roger trait, never re-named or re-shown, with no lineage meaning —
collapsing it to flavor (the note’s own
failure_mode). - Poneglyph reading is canonically only scholarly decipherment (Robin’s route) and the “hear the voices” line is metaphor, not a discrete faculty.
- Luffy never manifests the faculty — he reaches the final island and reads/learns the True History by some other route (Robin reads it to him; a one-time guide; the stones are translated conventionally), making the successor-carries-the-channel clause wrong even if Roger’s ability was real.
- The faculty has no Joy-Boy / ancient-text-maker connection — it is a personal Devil-Fruit-like power unique to Roger with no communion-with-the-world dimension.
Notes / non-dupe
Distinct from the three existing One-Piece/Joy-Boy predictions, which make non-overlapping calls:
- One Piece Is Joy Boys Letter Plus a Choice — the contents of Laugh Tale.
- The Road-Poneglyph Network Is The Map To Laugh Tale And Luffy Retraces Rogers Stone Trail — the navigation network (how the island is found).
- Robin Delivers Will of D Textual Reveal On Page — Robin’s scholarly reveal. This prediction is the reading-faculty call: the channel (not the map, not the contents, not the scholar) by which the stones become legible, and the claim that the channel is inherited to Luffy.
