2026-06-29 — Status: partially-confirmed via Ch. 1095 (with Ch. 1096).

What happened: The Kuma-origin flashback puts a fourth oppressed people on-page who venerate the Sun God Nika as their liberation deity: the enslaved, WG-exterminated Buccaneer people preserve “the legend of the Sun God Nika… the warrior of liberation” as their hope of freedom (Ch. 1095 p.12, “THE SUN GOD, NIKA!”), and young Kuma vows that if he gains power he wants “to be like Nika” and free the enslaved (Ch. 1096 p.13). The God-Valley human-hunt of the Buccaneers and its deliberate erasure from history (Ch. 1096) re-arm the active-WG-suppression tell the prediction leans on.

What we got right / wrong: Right on the load-bearing half — the unification thesis (Nika is the one suppressed liberation deity standing behind the oppressed/dispossessed peoples’ sun-motifs, actively scrubbed by the WG) gains a major new on-page data point: an entire enslaved race’s liberation theology is centered on Nika, and that race is being hunted to extinction. Held to partially-confirmed, not confirmed: the window adds an instance but does not on-page weld the Buccaneer Nika to the Shandian Sun God / Fisher Tiger’s sun-brand as literally one figure, and the corollary structural false-god / liberator-god cycle (Celestial Dragons as the final counterfeit god the true Sun God unseats) is untouched here.

The false-god / liberator-god confrontation moves to open combat but does not pay off: Imu’s true form and Gear-5 Nika-Luffy come face to face under the title card “KING OF THE WORLD ST. NERONA IMU VS EMPEROR OF THE SEA MONKEY D. LUFFY” (Ch. 1187 p.17), and the giants again name Nika as “Elbaf’s enemy” in the Great One’s eyes (Ch. 1186 p.14) — but Imu is winning: he recants (“thou art not Joy Boy… Joy Boy would never be this weak,” Ch. 1188) and leaves Luffy spent and depleted after a single hit (Ch. 1189 p.2). So the counterfeit-god-unseated-by-the-liberator corollary is staged more directly than ever yet remains unpaid. No new on-page weld of the scattered sun-motifs into literally one figure appears. • The Celestial Dragons aren’t framed as the counterfeit god. Their “divinity” is exposed as ordinary human tyranny (no theological inversion), severing the Nika-vs-false-god endgame framing.
• Nika is the deity, full stop. The thread’s “divine pattern” never resolves into anything larger than the single @1044 reveal — the broader cross-people unification is read into the text rather than confirmed by it.

Calibration note

Filed 0.6 — deliberately in the mid-band the calibration report flags as untested. The unification half is well-seeded (@1018 does much of the braiding on-page) but the structural-cycle / Celestial-Dragon-counterfeit half is the speculative, contrarian-leaning extension — so the whole is capped below the technique-density that would otherwise suggest ~0.7.
