Summary
In the Flower Capital below, the Fire Festival reaches its end: drunk townsfolk curse the absent Orochi, prepare the sky-boat lanterns, and write wishes to their departed ancestors, never knowing the war raging above. Atop Onigashima, Luffy demands to know why Kaido is drinking mid-fight; Kaido, plastered, declares it the same day as his crew’s annual feast and a sign that he has accepted Luffy as the first opponent able to truly go toe-to-toe with him. Their brawl — “Drunken Dragon Bagua” — half-destroys the burning, cracking Skull Dome (which, Kaido laments, took five years to build).
