Summary

In Caesar Clown’s laboratory the alliance between the mad scientist and the Warlord Trafalgar Law is laid bare: Law has been given free run of Punk Hazard and its lab — and tasked with healing the gas-crippled prisoners — in exchange for keeping Caesar’s fugitive presence secret, even from Caesar’s off-island patron “Joker.” Monet reels off Law’s dossier (North Blue, the Surgeon of Death, the Op-Op Fruit, a doctor), and Caesar gloats that his captive children can never truly leave: he laces their daily candy with an addictive fizzy stimulant. Law, eyeing a man who drugs children, mutters “You remind me of someone else…” and departs the lab freely just as explosions rock it. Outside, Brownbeard — captured by Team Luffy on the snowy slope — recounts the legend of Caesar’s invisible assassins, the Yeti Cool Brothers: giant fur-covered beast-men, age 25, named Rock and Scotch. The brothers materialize in the blizzard, and Brownbeard learns to his horror they were hired to kill him too. They bombard the lab and the fleeing Straw Hats, Luffy charges in too late, and the duo abduct the crewmate they were ordered to take alive — the body equipped with “Vegapunk’s lasers” — before vanishing into the storm: “They got Nami!! I’m sorry!!” The cover serial shows Bon Clay thriving as the new Queen of Newkama Land in Impel Down.

• Caesar hired them to kill Brownbeard. Not to rescue him — “He’s a nuisance at this point. I don’t need him.” (pp. 12–13)
• One crewmate abducted alive. The brothers take the body with “Vegapunk’s lasers” (Franky’s body) to capture alive and “kill the rest”; the crew, scrambled by Law’s persistent body-swap, cries “They got Nami!!” (pp. 16–17)
• Law leaves at will. Per his deal Law exits the lab’s rear entrance unchallenged — “I’m free to go… wherever I wish.” (p. 17)
