Djangos-Dance-Paradise

The Drum-Island-through-early-Alabasta cover-arc, tracking Django (the Black Cat Pirates’ first-mate hypnotist from Syrup Village, Ch. 28–Ch. 40) on his post-Syrup-Village solo adventures. Across 36 installments Django dances, disguises, joins the Marines, and is recognized via his own wanted poster (9M berries). The arc title flickers between Dance Paradise and Dance Heaven across its run. Cross-pollinates with Fullbody (who appears mid-arc as Django’s foil/partner) and briefly Miss Goldenweek (Vol. 24, Ch. 157). Ends with Django and Fullbody as Marine-bonded “Peon Pals” — the Black Cat Pirates have been quietly absorbed into the Marine peon-corps.

Notes

• Cover-arc title evolves: Dance Paradise (Vols. 1-18ish) → Dance Heaven (Vols. 19-26) → back to Dance Paradise (Vol. 27+) → FINAL STORY (Vol. 36).
• The Vol. 7 (Ch. 134) “Kaya is now a doctor’s apprentice” report is the only cover-arc-as-quiet-main-thread-payoff beat in the series so far; it canonizes Kaya’s post-Syrup destiny (foreshadowed in Ch. 41 page 18 when Onion declared “I’m going to become a doctor”).
• The cover-arc canonizes Fullbody and Django as a Marine-officer pair before either reappears on-page. Forward-payoff: both appear together in Hina’s unit (later Alabasta-saga chapters).
• Brief Vol. 24 Miss Goldenweek crossover (Ch. 157) marks her post-Little-Garden trajectory.
