I’M GOING TO SACRIFICE NANOHANA… IN ORDER TO PUT THAT DESPICABLE DANCE POWDER INCIDENT BEHIND US…” (pp. 10-11). Disguised Royal Army squad: “YES, SIRE!! BURN THIS CORRUPT CITY TO THE GROUND!!” — they immediately torch Nanohana (BOOM!! BOOM!! EEK AAH AAH, p. 11). Civilians flee in terror.

Reveal (pp. 18-19) — WOOOOO… Smoke clears. DOOM!! — Through the smoke walks Crocodile in his fur coat, hook visible, with Miss All Sunday (Robin) at his side in her purple dress and hat. Citizens flee (EEK!! AAAH!! / WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?). Robin (smiling, FWOO…): “SEEMS ALMOST TOO EASY FOR THE GRAND FINALE.” (p. 18).

Pages 10-19 — Bon Clay impersonates King Cobra at Nanohana (Operation Utopia casus belli)

Disguised as King Cobra (royal robes, gold chains, beard), Bon Clay walks into the port city of Nanohana and publicly confesses to the dance powder plot: “AFTER ALL, WHO DRIED UP THIS COUNTRY WITH THE DANCE POWDER?” / “I DID.” (p. 14). Orders the impersonator-Royal-Army to “BURN THIS CORRUPT CITY TO THE GROUND!!” (p. 11). Shoots Koza in the chest (p. 14, KLAK!!) when Koza demands accountability. The chapter is structurally the assassination-of-public-trust that Operation Utopia needed: the rebels’ moral case for the war becomes self-evident. Open questions raised

Where is the real King Cobra? The chapter establishes the Cobra-in-Nanohana is Bon Clay. The real Cobra is implied to be in Crocodile’s custody, but not shown on-page in this chapter. Forward-canon resolution: ~Ch. 172+.
How did Bon Clay enter Alubarna palace to make the king disappear? The Chaka-search establishes the disappearance is impossible by surveillance — yet it happened. Bon Clay-as-someone-on-the-inside (a guard? a minister?) is the only operational explanation. Pre-loads forward-canon palace-infiltration reveal.
Will Koza survive the shot? KLAK!! point-blank pistol-shot to the chest — Koza falls in front of his own rebel-army. Forward-canon: he survives (Alabasta-arc-finale), but the chapter ends with him down.
What is the grand finale Robin refers to? Operation Utopia’s grand finale register implies the war-as-spectacle is the operation’s terminal phase, not its kickoff. What does Crocodile actually want from the finale?

The Vol. 36 cover-installment introduces a Marine female officer with a heart-arrow over her head — Love Shock implies Django’s hypnosis hit her, but she’s smiling/eyes-closed at center-frame which reads more like target acquired. Forward-canon Hina-vs-Django storyline is the pre-load.
