A Paramecia fruit eaten by Sugar, a special officer of the Donquixote Pirates. Touching a person turns them into a toy and simultaneously erases that person from everyone else’s memory — even family and other toys forget the victim ever existed, while the toy itself retains all its human memories. The fruit additionally freezes its eater in time so they never age (Sugar looks like a young girl but is far older). Crucially, Ch. 731’s Operation S.O.P. brief establishes the off-switch: if Sugar is shocked unconscious, every toy reverts to human and all the kingdom’s erased memories return at once (pp. 7–11) — the linchpin of the Riku Army’s plan. See Toy Transformation Erases The Victim From Everyone’s Memory, Living Toys of Dressrosa.
Single point of failure: the entire toy-transformation / memory-erasure state collapses if the user is knocked unconscious — every toy reverts and all erased memories return at once (Ch. 731, pp. 7–10).
(Water/sea immobilization is universal — not listed.)
Lore & theories
An aging-suspension trait: the fruit “freezes its eater in time, never to age,” adding an unusual property to the catalog of Devil-Fruit behaviors. Cross-link Nature of Devil Fruits.
Name from the English loanword “hobby” (ホビー hobī, reduplicated to ホビホビ Hobi Hobi) — in Japanese “hobby” strongly connotes the toy/model/figure trade (“hobby shops”), fitting a fruit that turns people into living toys. (Fandom dfmeaning = “Hobby.” Earlier gloss “趣味 hobi” was a mis-romanization — 趣味 reads shumi.)

SBS notes
SBS (Vol. 75, after Ch. 750): the fruit freezes its user’s body at the age they ate it — Sugar appears 10 but is actually 22. Confirms the on-page hints (see Sugar) that incapacity, not aging, governs the toy-curse. (Tag technique/sbs-leak.)
