Activated by Luffy’s Drums of Liberation heartbeat on Egghead. Joy Boy stored Supreme King Haki inside Emet for a future moment. Vegapunk hid the broadcast Den Den Mushi inside Emet — confirming Vegapunk knew enough about the Void Century to align himself with Joy Boy.

Egghead — its 200-year history revealed (Ch. 1125) — flashback / referenced

• The Five Elders recount the giant’s origin: discovered ~200 years ago, it was to be disposed of, but Saturn ordered it researched and protected. “For 200 years it never budged an inch… until now, when it clearly moved to protect Straw Hat Luffy” (pp.4–5). Confirms Emet vastly predates the present regime and that its defense of Luffy was unprecedented.

Egghead — covering the escape (Ch. 1123) — shown

• The reawakened iron giant (“Giant Robo”) roars and shields the departing crew; Luffy thanks it as the Straw Hats break the Marine blockade (p.3). A giant (Dorry & Brogy’s Elbaf crew) notes the aura it carried was “even stronger than Red-Hair’s” yet had “no hostility.”

Egghead escape — NAMED on-page “Emet”; unleashes Joy Boy’s stored Haki (Ch. 1122) — shown

• The reactivated Iron Giant towers over the fleeing Straw Hats + giants off Egghead. It mistakes Luffy for Joy Boy, apologizes (“Sorry that I couldn’t… make you king…”), says Luffy “looks so much like him,” and reacts to Luffy declaring himself “Monkey D. Luffy” — the panel isolates the “D.” (p.7–10).
• On hearing Luffy’s name and “that old familiar rhythm,” Emet unleashes overwhelming Conqueror’s / Supreme King Haki (“Color of the Supreme King?!”, “Such powerful Haki!!!”) that makes the attacking Marine fleet and sea-monsters vanish: “I won’t let you die!!!” (p.11–12, 15).
• Origin flashback (p.16–17): a hat-silhouetted child names Emet (“Remember, Emet”), explains they “tied a knot of the greatest Haki and locked it inside your body,” to be untied “only when the time is right” — when Emet’s life or someone it wants to protect is in danger: “I’ll save you all the way from the past!!” The child is strongly implied to be Joy Boy (INFERENCE — guarded).

Egghead — names Joy Boy, crushed by Ju Peter, vows to “use it” (Ch. 1120) — shown

• Rises and addresses Luffy directly: “JOYBOY. I’m so happy… I get to see you again!!” — pledges “Your enemy is my enemy… I get to fight for you again… I must protect him!!!” (pp. 11–14).
• Explicitly called “a 900-year-old weapon” (p. 15); the snake-Gorosei “Peter” bites and crushes it to “stop that transmission” — “Crush it between your jaws, Peter!!!” (pp. 14–15).

Egghead — escape; NAMED “EMET” (Ch. 1119) — shown

• NAMED on-page at last: “EMET” (chapter title; Void-Century flashback voice “Remember, Emet… only when the time is right…”, p. 13). The watching Elbaf giants don’t recognize it — “monster!!”, “the boar!!”, “ROBOOO!!!”, “Time is right?”
• Reactivated and acting around the Straw Hats’ escape: spits the fallen Cipher Pol agents, rubble, and the harrying Seraphim out of its mouth “like a fountain”; suction drags the giants’ ship backward; charges, leaps the ship, and crashes into the sea (pp. 10–12). Described “really, really sturdy.”

Egghead (Ch. 1118)

• Sinks beneath Egghead’s waters (“ZABLOOSH!!!”), scattering Marine ships (p.2). As it goes under it addresses Joy Boy directly: “Where did you go? / Joyboy. / …Want to see you… You were there, Joyboy…” (pp.2-3).

Egghead — reactivates and names Joy Boy (Ch. 1111) — shown

• Reactivates on Egghead’s northwest coast — “something far larger than even the giants,” standing unaffected in the flames — and speaks “Joyboy. Sorry…” (p. 19). Named on-page only as the gargantuan creature; “Emet” is not spoken this chapter. The Marines relay an urgent report of it to the wounded Kizaru.

• The dormant Iron Giant creaks/stirs (“VMMM… CREAK…”) in response to Gear-5 Luffy’s Nika drum rhythm “Doom-dut-da-da” — “He appears from the blue with laughter and this rhythm… Nika?” (p. 14). Egghead — history revealed (Ch. 1067) — named on-page only as “the legendary iron giant”

• Identified (by name only as “the legendary iron giant”) as the robot that attacked Sacred Mariejois ~200 years ago, having climbed up the Red Line — but it was built 900 years ago (p.9-11).
• “No damage [was done] only because it ran out of energy”; “its goal was never understood”; “no one knows where it came from.” The WG ordered it destroyed, but scientists’ curiosity preserved it, “and the government is none the wiser” (p.9-10).
• Vegapunk modeled the Vegaforce-1 on it, but its “dynamic power source” is the one thing he cannot re-create — a past power “strong enough to rewrite everything we know about the world today” (p.11). Egghead (Ch. 1116)

• The transmission transponder snail broadcasting Vegapunk’s message is housed inside Emet in the Fabriophase, “under its protection.” The Five Elders’ attacks accomplish nothing (“Nothing’s working on it!!”), and Emet’s eyes reignite in the chapter’s final panel — an ancient construct actively shielding the message. (p. 12)

Egghead — reawakened, battles the Gorosei (Ch. 1117)

• Shown active and grappling the monster-form Five Elders; the Gorosei recognize it as “the iron giant that attacked Mariejois 200 years ago” (pp. 14–15). On-page it is named ONLY as “the iron giant” this chapter — the proper name “Emet” is not spoken here.
