Summary
On burning Egghead, Zoro and Jinbei break free of St. Jaygarcia Saturn’s rampaging demon form — Jinbei’s Fish-Man Karate (“Five Thousand Brick” / ”…Chop!!!”) covers their escape. Saturn interrogates the beaten Rob Lucci (Cipher Pol Aigis 0) for the positions of everyone still loose — York tied in Building A’s command room, 85 CP agents and four Seraphim in the lab basement, two Vegapunks and five Straw Hats on the move — then dismisses Lucci’s plea to spare his gravely-wounded partner Kaku (“That may not be possible…”). The Little Garden giants Dorry & Brogy arrive on an Elbaf ship to ferry the crew out, greeting Luffy and marveling that his “outfit” (Gear 5 / Nika) “pleases us greatly,” while recognizing Saturn’s form as “that god spoken of in Elbaph.” When the Marines move to withdraw, Saturn answers their retreat signal with a Conqueror’s-Haki roar and a blast that re-pulsates the island. The giants combine for “Svalinn Sun-Shield” and “Skilja Split,” Luffy bats Saturn’s poison stinger back with a stolen Marine cannon — and Saturn is blown to bits, only to reform, revealing the Gorosei’s immortality. As the crew races for the escape ship and a talking monster corners Jewelry Bonney, a wounded Kizaru is urged to act, and a report comes from the northwest coast: a creature “far larger than even the giants,” unaffected by the flames, has appeared — the ancient iron giant, which speaks: “Joyboy. Sorry…”
New reveals
- The Gorosei are immortal. The giants explode / shatter Saturn’s demon form and he simply reforms — “THEY’RE IMMORTAL!!!” / “they keep coming back, no matter what you do” (pp. 17–18). The giants say they’ve “never heard of any such power or race” (p. 18).
- Saturn’s form = “that god spoken of in Elbaph.” A giant recognizes Saturn’s ox-demon form as a god/demon from Elbaf legend (p. 8); Saturn tells the giants the WG has “much to settle with YOUR kind” (p. 14) — a buried WG-vs-giants grudge.
- Dorry & Brogy come to the rescue. The Little Garden giants arrive on an Elbaf ship after seeing the newspaper that Luffy was “surrounded by the Navy” (p. 9); a relayed message: “If you see Luffy… tell him to run around the back of the island!!” An escape-map panel charts the crew’s scattered positions (Elbaf Ship “GOAL!”, Nami & Usopp, Luffy, Sanji & Vegapunk, Bonney & Franky).
- The giants approve Luffy’s Nika form. “Your outfit!! It pleases us greatly!! Gaba ba ba ba ba!!” (p. 9) — Elbaf reveres Sun God Nika.
- WG erase-from-history doctrine, aimed at Luffy. Saturn: Luffy “must be crushed… eradicated from the historical record!!!” (p. 15).
- Lucci’s intel dump (p. 6): York is on Building A’s 4th floor, still tied up in the command room; two Vegapunks and five Straw Hats are loose and preparing to escape via the Labophase back exit; 85 other CP agents + 4 Seraphim in the lab basement; Zoro & Jinbei just escaped. Vegapunk’s broadcast “resumes in six minutes” (p. 7).
- The iron giant reactivates and speaks. From the northwest coast, a creature “far larger than even the giants,” unaffected by the flames, stands in the fire and says “JOYBOY. SORRY…” (p. 19).
- Kizaru is gravely wounded and pressed by Marines to act on an urgent report (p. 19).

- pp. 1–2 — Color spread (lead/cover art, not a side-serial): “Based on a reader request: ‘The Straw Hats strolling through the deep sea using jellyfish umbrellas’ by M. Hiyu.” The full crew in bubbles, eating fries, holding jellyfish umbrellas in the deep sea. Decorative — no clear foreshadowing.

Open questions raised
- What exactly makes the Gorosei immortal, and what “power or race” are they that even Elbaf giants have never heard of?
- What “god spoken of in Elbaph” does Saturn’s form match, and what is the ancient grudge between the World Government and the giants?
- Why does the reactivated iron giant apologize to Joy Boy? What did it fail to do 800 years ago?
- Who is the talking “monster” cornering Bonney at the escape ship (Saturn’s reformed demon form)?
- What will the wounded Kizaru do, and what does Vegapunk’s resuming broadcast reveal next?
