Summary

The Egghead epilogue. As CP0 escapes the island, an agent reports to Lucci and Kaku that he has killed the mole Stussy. Aboard the Marine flagship, St. Jaygarcia Saturn tallies the WG’s haul — York, Punk Records and the Power Plant, “with these three we gain the Mother Flame, a fire that never goes out” — while berating the nine Vice Admirals for letting the Straw Hats and Bonney escape, then crushes Vice Admiral Doberman for daring to ask whether Vegapunk’s broadcast was true. A flashback (~200 years ago) shows the iron giant being found and protected on Saturn’s own order; for 200 years it never moved, “until now, when it clearly moved to protect Straw Hat Luffy.” Inside the lab, Bonney is tricked out of Punk Records as the island clouds multiply and the supposedly-dead Edison reappears. At Sacred Marijoa, St. Figarland Garling walks into the Chamber of Power and announces he is assuming the Godhead of Science & Defense, making Vegapunk York his direct subordinate — a caption confirms him as one of the Five Elders. As Garling speaks, Saturn convulses at Egghead: Imu demands “why did you allow Joyboy to escape?” and dissolves Saturn into black shadow, leaving only bones on the deck. Egghead floats away on island clouds with the surviving satellites, who contact Weatheria; the world digests the broadcast (panic at Mary Geoise, Kamabakka), and Monkey D. Dragon warns that not everyone will prepare for the sinking world peacefully — “this demands a swift resolution.”
