Absalom’s Paramecia Devil Fruit, named on-page in Ch. 464 (by Sanji: “the invisible man of the Clear-Clear Fruit,” pp. 7-8). It turns the user invisible — and, crucially, anything the user touches is rendered invisible too, which is why Absalom can produce and aim his arm-bazookas and strike from nowhere while unseen. The power’s effects were shown well before the fruit was named: the unseen “beast” that boarded the Thousand Sunny (Ch. 444) and the invisible man who stalked Nami (Ch. 446/Ch. 447) were Absalom using this fruit. Power limits & weaknesses
- The invisibility is defeated by coating the user in a substance that forces a reaction — Usopp’s Salt Ball makes Absalom flinch (“it tastes so salty”) and flushes him out of invisibility (Ch. 463).
- The user remains physically present and can be struck once located; a strong scent can still be tracked (Absalom masks Nami’s scent to evade Sanji’s nose, Ch. 457).
- The fruit is described by its own user as “nothing but an accessory” to his transplant-built body (Ch. 464 p. 11).
- Standard water/sea immobilization (universal).
