- 西の村 (Nishi no Mura, 'Western Village') is on its face a plain directional name — but its canonical alias is the Village of Warriors (戦士の村, Senshi no Mura), the very 'village of warriors' of Elbaf that Dorry & Brogy invoked in the Little Garden arc (Ch 116/122) and that Oimo & Kashii later confirmed as their birthplace (Ch 384). The Straw Hats' arrival here is the ~25-year-deferred payoff of that long-named warriors' homeland — birthplace of Dorry, Brogy, Oimo, Kashii and Hajrudin.
Profile
One of Elbaf’s villages and the Straw Hats’ point of arrival Ch. 1133. Its port is built atop a great tree and floats on Sea Clouds (“a port on top of a tree?!”); Svarr mist-ships dock here amid island clouds, sea clouds, bubbles and rainbows. The Warrior’s Spring and Owl Library lie to its southwest.
Chapter 1182 — flood, pub triage, Sea Cloud Port
- The pub serves as a field hospital (“It’s like a war scene!!”, p. 10). ZaZa’s downpour floods it — “It’s flooding indoors! Don’t let the wounded get soaked!!” — sweeping children away (p. 13); ZaZa strides through the streets (pp. 14–15).
- New sub-location: “Sea Cloud Port, by Western Village” — map inset labels Western Village / Branch Route / Rainbow (Port) (p. 9). Sommers lands a stolen giant drakkar on its sea clouds.
Elbaf battle (Ch. 1186)
- Present-day: the Holy Knight declares he can control the giants “at will” by holding their abducted children hostage — “simply abduct thy children… I can control thee at will… thou art my slaves!!” (pp. 15–16), and that “800 years ago, thy kind suffered defeat… history repeats.” The Straw Hats + giants regroup at the Walrus School cafeteria to free the frozen Gunko (p. 14).
