A castle in the Western Village of Elbaf (captioned “Aurust Castle, Western Village, Elbaph,” p. 12). Two human-sized hooded intruders infiltrate it and slaughter the giant guards while coldly demanding the location of the imprisoned Loki (“Behave yourself, you insolent lout. Did you think I asked you a question?”). The giants insist “no one’s in this castle” and refuse to disclose Loki’s whereabouts “in case you mean to free him” — so the castle is not confirmed as Loki’s actual prison this chapter (his prison is left unrevealed; see Prince Loki). Etymology

JP アウルスト城 (Aurusuto-jō), “Aurust Castle.” No established real-world / Norse source for “Aurust.” The One Piece Wiki carries no etymology entry, and a targeted pass (Wiki + community search, 2026-07) surfaced no confident cognate. The castle sits in Elbaf’s Western Village on a Norse-coded map where cardinal-direction naming is thematically present (cf. the four world-holding dwarves Norðri / Suðri / Austri / Vestri; Old Norse aurr, “clay/loam/gold”), but neither the “aust-” (east) nor aurr echo is a sourced match — so no etymology asserted. Left OPEN pending an Oda SBS gloss or a firmer cognate.
