Elbaf’s school, where the children of the giants learn — walrus-themed treehouse buildings hung from the great tree, beside the Owl Library and the Warrior’s Spring (the children’s playground). Founded by Saul 20 years ago “at the behest of the former king” (King Harald). Staffed by Saul (history/books), the librarian Ange, and biology teacher Ripley. Described as “basically a warrior training ground” by the visitors, but its current pupils are gentle pacifists who reject the old warrior identity. (pp. 8–13)

Etymology

セイウチの学校 Seiuchi no Gakkō — literally “Walrus School” (seiuchi = walrus). A plainly descriptive name matching the walrus-themed treehouse buildings hung from Elbaf’s great tree. Part of Elbaf’s animal-named-institution motif: the Walrus School sits beside the Owl Library. Its principal is fittingly named Tusk (キバ Kiba, “fang/tusk” — a walrus’s tusks), reinforcing the walrus coding. Confidence: high. Source: One Piece Wiki (Walrus School).
