Summary
A “where are they now” sweep, roughly three weeks after the Paramount War, as the newspaper carrying Luffy’s latest move ripples out to scattered allies and rivals. On the East-Blue slave bridge (Tequila Wolf), Revolutionary soldiers hail Nico Robin as “the light of the Revolution,” reveal their boss Dragon is Luffy’s father, and offer to take her to him — she declines (“I have my own friends”) and smiles at the news article. At the Kamabakka Kingdom on Peachy Island, Sanji argues that the grotesque wanted poster really is him while Emporio Ivankov and the Newkama tease him; a transmission arrives from Baltigo, where Dragon — over a wiretap-proof white Den Den Mushi — learns his fatherhood is now public and tells Ivankov a council of Revolutionary executives will convene, that the old order has destabilized since Whitebeard’s death, and that the Kuma he knew “tried to kill me.” At Sabaody’s Grove 44, Duval and the Flying Fish Riders, Camie, Pappag and Shakky guard the Thousand Sunny when Bartholomew Kuma silently arrives and stands watch over the ship. At Alabasta, a confused Vivi reads the story; in a certain town, a recovered Crocodile and Daz Bones set off for the New World; and on an isolated island, Buggy is tearfully reunited with his crew before a government carrier bat finds him with a message.
