Summary

Inside the Whole Cake Chateau’s treasure repository, Big Mom fawns over the captured Brook while her chess soldiers verify he “took nothing” — relieved, she reflects internally that she will not let anyone read her poneglyph, make copies, or beat her to Raftel “like I did with Roger,” and that she has a “secret weapon” who will one day wield the voice of all things. That weapon is her daughter Charlotte Pudding, whom Big Mom greets as a fellow secret-keeper: Pudding has a hidden third eye and is a half-blood of the three-eyed people, whose awakened sight could read the poneglyphs. Brook overhears the secret and bolts, pursued by Baron Tamago — who reincarnates through his Egg-Egg Fruit forms (Viscount Hiyoko → Count Niwatori) — then detonates explosives as bait and is yanked to safety into the Mirro-World by Pedro, rejoining Chopper and the captive Brulee (whose mirror power is their only way in or out). Meanwhile a starving, battered Luffy rampages through the Chateau hunting Sanji and runs into Sanji’s sister, who tells him Sanji already knows Pudding has been lying — and that Big Mom’s wedding is a trap: the entire Vinsmoke family is to be put to death. Refusing all food but Sanji’s, Luffy resolves to keep his promise and “go wait at that spot,” crashing exhausted through a roof.
