Summary

In the immediate aftermath of Luffy’s punch, Saint Charlos crashes into the auction-house wall and the hall erupts in panic — a commoner has struck a Celestial Dragon, and everyone present knows a Navy admiral and battleships will follow. Luffy apologizes to his crew but refuses to back down: “Camie isn’t something you can buy and sell.” Zoro, Sanji, and the newly-arrived Robin, Brook, and Usopp fight off the bubble-armored security guards while the World Noble family (Saint Roswald and his daughter Saint Shalria) rage and open fire, trying to kill the mermaid Camie before her collar can be removed. As Shalria takes aim at Camie, an old man — one of the slaves up for auction, recognized by Hatchan as “Rayleigh, the coating guy” — calmly breaks his own shackles, and with an unexplained force drops a huge swath of the audience unconscious. He compliments Luffy’s straw hat and names him: ”…Monkey D. Luffy. I’ve wanted to meet you…”
