A World Noble / Celestial Dragon — the first World Noble shown moving through Sabaody Archipelago’s lawless groves in person (Ch. 499 pp. 10-11; the caste was first depicted on-page Ch. 497 via his father Saint Roswald and sister Saint Shalria at the auction registration). Son of Saint Roswald; brother of Saint Shalria.

Captures and chains Shirahoshi as a pet, threatening her; praised by his father Roswald (“Well done, Charlos!”) (pp. 10–11).
Orders his slave Kuma to kill Myosgard; struck down by Sai’s “Dragon Nail” — “The murder of a Celestial Dragon!!” The on-page depiction of the “attempted murder of St. Charlos” later referenced Ch. 1054 (pp. 13–15). (last_appearance HOLD Ch. 908 — flashback.)

In the aftermath of Luffy’s punch (landed Ch. 502), he lies unconscious and is carried off by guards as his family screams that “even Father has never laid a hand on him!!” (page 7) — underscoring the unprecedented insult of a commoner striking a World Noble.

First named on-page (page 3, “Saint Charlos!” / “A Celestial Dragon…”; restated page 10) — arrives at the Grove 1 Human Auctioning House with his (unnamed-this-chapter) father and sister, demanding “I want a mermaid” while picking his nose (pp. 2-3).
Outbids the Straw Hats’ 200 million with 500 million for Camie (page 8); the hall falls “SILENCE” the instant he bids. Camie is sold to him outright (pp. 8-10).

Fires on a passing, oblivious Zoro and believes he killed him; Zoro draws his blade in response before Jewelry Bonney (disguised as a child) stops him and “averts a disaster” (pp. 14-16).
