- The SABAODY ARCHIPELAGO is established: a giant cluster of mangrove trees that exudes resin bubbles, sitting at the foot of the Red Line beside Marine Headquarters. Its 'groves' are divided into seven zones — Groves 1-29 are lawless human-shop lands the Navy ignores; the rest hold Sabaody Park (amusement), souvenir/sightseeing districts, a shipyard-and-coating-specialist quarter, a hotel park, and the Navy base / government port (pp. 3-4).
- SHAKUYAKU ('Shakky') is introduced — owner of 'Shakky's Rip-off Bar' in Grove 13 and a FORMER PIRATE. She quit ~40 years ago; the naval officer GARP 'used to chase' her back then (pp. 6-8).
- The coating specialist the crew needs is named RAYLEIGH — a notorious ex-pirate who coats ships and has been absent for six months
- SHIP COATING is established as the special method to reach Fish-Man Island: a coating specialist seals a ship in resin so it can travel the deep sea below the Red Line (p. 9).
- Grand Line geography: the seven Log Pose sea-routes through Paradise all terminate at the Red Line, so the world's rookie crews converge on the Sabaody Archipelago — the last stop before the New World (pp. 4, 11).
- Shakky reveals there are ELEVEN rookie pirates with bounties over 100 million berries on the island at once — Luffy and Zoro plus nine others (p. 10).
- Nine of the rookie 'Supernovas' debut on-page with name/origin/crew/bounty captions: Capone 'Gang' Bege (West Blue, Firetank Pirates, ฿138M), Jewelry Bonney (South Blue, Bonney Pirates, ฿140M), Basil Hawkins (North Blue, Hawkins Pirates, ฿249M), Eustass 'Captain' Kid (South Blue, Kid Pirates, ฿315M — highest), Scratchmen Apoo (Grand Line / Longarm Tribe, On-Air Pirates, ฿198M), X. Drake (North Blue, Drake Pirates, ฿222M), Urouge (Sky Island, Fallen Monk Pirates, ฿108M), Killer (South Blue, Kid Pirates fighter, ฿162M), and Trafalgar Law (North Blue, Heart Pirates, ฿200M) (pp. 12-18).
- Luffy's bounty is stated at 300 million — the SECOND-highest on the island (behind Kid's 315M) (pp. 4, 11).
- X. Drake is called 'the fallen naval officer' — a former Marine now captaining a pirate crew (pp. 16-17).
- Scratchmen Apoo is identified on-page as a member of the LONGARM TRIBE — the first on-page naming of that people (p. 15).
- Urouge's origin caption is 'From Sky Island' — a sky-island pirate now operating in the Blue Sea (p. 17).

Summary
On the lawless mangrove groves of the Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy, Brook and Chopper (with Camie, Hatchan and Pappag) shrug off a third wave of bounty hunters and reach Grove 13, where the octopus-fish-man Hatchan reunites with an old friend — Shakuyaku, “Shakky,” a chain-smoking ex-pirate who runs a “Rip-off Bar.” Shakky explains the archipelago’s seven-zone layout and reveals that the coating specialist the crew needs to reach Fish-Man Island — a notorious ex-pirate named Rayleigh — has been gone six months. She then drops the chapter’s bombshell: eleven rookie pirates with bounties over 100 million are on the island at once. A grove-by-grove montage debuts nine of these “Supernovas” — Capone Bege, Jewelry Bonney, Basil Hawkins, Eustass Kid, Scratchmen Apoo, X. Drake, Urouge, Killer and Trafalgar Law — each rampaging through the lawless groves, as Shakky warns that one among this generation may lead the next age of pirates and the New World will become a “sea of blood.” The chapter closes on an SBS column.

Open questions raised
- Who exactly is Rayleigh, and why is such a “notorious” ex-pirate working as a humble coating mechanic?
- Which of the eleven Supernovas will “lead the next generation of pirates”?
- What is X. Drake’s history as a Marine, and why did he turn pirate?
- How did Shakky (a pirate Garp once chased ~40 years ago) come to run a bar at Sabaody?
- What is the Longarm Tribe, and where do they come from?
