- *Reddo Rain* (レッドライン) = literal English 'Red Line' — descriptive name for the global continental strip that bisects the planet. The 'red' color may reference the **reddish/rust color of the rock-face** as drawn (cf. red sandstone, terracotta cliffs) and resonates with cartographic-line convention (red ink for borders, no-go zones, sovereign-territory). Possibly evokes the Cold-War 'red line' / *do-not-cross* register — the Red Line literally separates the four Blues from each other and is impassable except via Reverse Mountain (entry) and Mariejois (exit/Holy Land summit). Forward-canon: the Red Line is the artificial-product of the World Government's continent-engineering (Pluton-tier weaponry seeded reveal).

Profile
A planetary-scale continental strip that bisects the world, forming the barrier between the four Blues and the Grand Line. Visually first established as vertically dramatic at Ch. 101 page 14 — a colossal jagged mountain-range with summits lost in the storm-cloud canopy. The Red-Line-as-mountain-range register pre-loads Mariejois (above the cloud-layer at the Red-Line’s summit) and the Sky-Island cosmology.
Etymology
Red Line — the literal name as it appears on the Buggy-stolen Grand Line map. JP: レッドライン (Reddo Rain). The redness is a visual / mythic-color register (the red of cardinal-direction symbology + redness of a divide-line), not a literal pigment of the continent.
