- Transparent descriptive English name keyed to the island's elongation gag: everything here is 'long' (long-necked horses, a stretched dachshund, skyscraper-tall bamboo). 'Long Ring' = the RING shape of the ten islands chained in a circle; 'Long Land' = the elongated landmass. The triple 'Long/Ring/Long' is reinforced by the named local geography — Long Coral Reef, Long Cape, Long Ring Whirlpool (@0307). NOT the English 'long-ring/short-ring' boxing term — the gag is literal elongation + the ring-of-islands layout.

Profile
A bizarre Grand Line island where all flora and fauna are stretched/elongated — long-legged “horse-bear” and dog creatures, towering thin trees, and skyscraper-tall bamboo (Ch. 304, pp. 8–12). First shown in Ch. 304; the island is NOT named on-page this chapter (canonical name “Long Ring Long Land” applied — it is first spoken on-page @0305). The Straw Hats find an abandoned yurt-style house and a saddled long-necked white horse named Sherry, implying a lone resident (pp. 10–11) — that resident, Tonjit, is not yet shown. The grove is rigged with a hidden cannon trap that fires when the giant bamboo is broken (pp. 12–14). At sea, the island becomes the staging ground for the Straw Hats’ encounter with the Foxy Pirates, who demand a “duel” — the contest later named the Davy Back Fight.
Etymology
A transparent descriptive English name keyed to the island’s elongation gag: everything on the island is long — long-necked “horse-bear” horses, a stretched dachshund, skyscraper-tall bamboo, towering thin trees. The name parses as “Long Ring” + “Long Land”: Long Land = the elongated landmass, and Ring = the ring-of-ten-islands layout (the archipelago is a chain of ten islands arranged in a circle, fused as one giant island so a Log/Eternal Pose can’t navigate between them). The triple “Long/Ring/Long” pun is reinforced by the named local geography revealed @0307: Long Coral Reef, Long Cape, Long Ring Whirlpool — all keyed to the same gag. (One Piece Wiki: “the animals that live here are unique in that they are all longer than normal in some way.”)
Long Ring Long Land arc (Ch. 305)
- Island named on-page (Ch. 305, p. 8): “Long Ring Long Land.” The landmass is normally divided by the sea into ten ring-arranged islands (pp. 8–9); the comically “stretched out” geography (tall trees, elongated animals — a long dachshund, a giraffe-necked horse) keys the triple-”long” name.
- A low-tide migration window opens once every three years for only a few hours, briefly exposing the connections between the ten islands so the resident nomadic tribe can migrate by horse (the Log Pose does not point between them — they are “one island”). A full circuit back to a given island takes ~20 years (pp. 8–9).
- The nomad Tonjit is found stranded atop the world’s tallest bamboo stilts (he climbed up ten years ago when his tribe migrated away and grew too scared to come down as the bamboo kept growing); the Straw Hats break the bamboo and free him (pp. 2–4). His horse Sherry was shot by the Foxy Pirates on their arrival (p. 10).

Long Ring Long Land arc — Donut Race (Ch. 306)
- The island becomes the venue for the Straw Hats vs. Foxy Pirates Davy Back Fight. Round 1, the Donut Race, is “one lap around the island following the shoreline” (p. 18) — establishing it as a discrete island with a circumnavigable coast.

Long Ring Long Land arc — Groggy Ring (Ch. 309)
- The island becomes the venue for Round 2 of the Davy Back Fight, the Groggy Ring, after Round 1 (the Donut Race) is resolved here — the Foxy Pirates win and Foxy conscripts Chopper as his spoils. The “Groggy Monsters” (Hamburg / Pickles / Big Pan) face Zoro + Sanji on the island.
Long Ring Long Land arc — Groggy Ring (Ch. 310)
- The island hosts Round 2, the Groggy Ring, played on a marked field with two midfield rings (pp. 5, 9–10), before a large crowd of Foxy-crew spectators. (No new geography named this chapter.)

The Luffy-vs-Foxy duel begins on the Davy Back Fight grounds.
Long Ring Long Land arc — Combat (Round 3) (Ch. 315)
- The @0315 Combat round takes place on and then inside the Sexy Foxy rather than on the island proper — the cannon-shot field encloses Foxy’s anchored flagship, so deck + trap-rigged interior are the legal battlefield. The island itself is the backdrop venue this chapter; no new island geography is revealed.
