Profile
The Sexy Foxy is the flagship of the Foxy Pirates. The ship’s name is first spoken on-page in Ch. 313 (p. 12), when the Davy Back Fight’s Round-3 (Combat) “battlefield” — a 50-meter-radius circle set by spinning a cannon and firing a steel ball — “by chance” comes to rest right beside the Sexy Foxy on the Long Ring Long Land shore (pp. 12–13). Nico Robin and Zoro immediately flag the placement as rigged (“That wasn’t ‘by chance,’ idiot!”) — the ship’s proximity is an extension of Foxy’s “genius of interference” tilting a supposedly-random mechanic in his favor.
The Combat-round rules treat the ship as part of the legal arena: the field is the steel-ball circle, “any weapon found within that circle may be used,” and notably “above and under the ship do not count as being outside the circle” (p. 13) — so the Sexy Foxy itself becomes a fightable surface for the Luffy-vs-Foxy duel.
In the chapter’s festival interlude, Porche leads flower-cheerleader warm-up matches on the bow of the Sexy Foxy (pp. 14–15), confirming the ship doubles as the Foxy Pirates’ carnival stage during the Davy Back Fight.
By Ch. 316 (the K.O.-eve chapter, last of Vol. 33) the Combat-round duel has moved into the ship’s interior: a below-deck chamber rigged with the “Gorilla Puncher #13” punching-machine wall and mirrors (used to reflect Foxy’s Noro Noro no Mi Slow-Slow Beam — a “Mirror Racket”) is the venue for the climax of the Luffy-vs-Foxy duel. A purpose-built obstacle course favoring the home fighter.
Disguise history
The Foxy Pirates’ ship first appears (in disguise) well before it is named: it trailed the Going Merry as a flagless, sail-less, near-lifeless “derelict” (the crew so demoralized Chopper “can barely detect any life,” Ch. 304) before bursting up to reveal the fox/cat-skull “FOXY” jolly roger and challenge the Straw Hats to a duel. The vessel recurs through the Davy Back Fight; it is not named the Sexy Foxy on-page until @0313.
