A Paramecia eaten by Foxy “the Silver Fox,” captain of the Foxy Pirates. Foxy can emit “Slowpoke Photons” — described on-page as “an as-yet undiscovered particle” — from his body (Ch. 309 p. 6). His signature “Slow-Slow Beam!!” (pp. 5–7) is a beam of light; anything it strikes — “whether it’s a living creature, liquid, or gas” (p. 6) — loses velocity while maintaining all its other properties. The slowed state lasts about 30 seconds, after which “the speed returns to normal… as if nothing happened” (p. 7). Foxy used it to slow the Straw Hats’ boat at the Donut Race finish line (pp. 4–5) and demonstrates by slowing a fired cannonball in midair (pp. 7–8). Foxy calls himself a “slowpoke human” (p. 6).

- The beam is turned back on Foxy via a mirror — the Chekhov rulebook pays off. Luffy reflects the Slow-Slow Beam off a mirror hidden in his afro (the mirror Foxy himself slammed in as a “gift” Ch. 316 p. 11, revealed @0317 p. 17 to be the Sexy Foxy’s below-deck cabin mirror) back onto Foxy (pp. 16–18) — confirming on-page that the beam slows whoever it strikes, including the user (the reflection property documented @0316 now used against its owner).
- The ~30-second window becomes the loss condition. During Foxy’s own slow, Luffy winds up an accumulated Gum-Gum rush so that every blow lands at the instant the slow expires — the crowd counts the timer down 8→“ZERO!!” and the whole rush detonates at once (KA-BLAM, pp. 18–22), KO’ing Foxy. The “speed returns to normal as if nothing happened” caveat (@0309) is exactly the mechanism that lets the slowed-up force land all at once. Foxy loses the Combat round and the Davy Back Fight by KO — ending his 920-match streak.

Foxy fires the Slow-Slow Beam into a mirror-lined arena and bounces it off mirrors (a “Mirror Racket,” p. 7) to strike from unexpected angles (“Slowpoke photons reflect off mirrors!!”, pp. 5–7). This extends the documented ruleset (~30-sec velocity-null; affects living creatures / liquid / gas alike; “speed returns to normal as if nothing happened,” Ch. 309) with a reflection property. The slowed blows “gradually build up, and then explode” (p. 2).
- Applied form — the “Slow-Slow Beam Sword” (p. 16): Foxy uses the beam to restrain a target’s arms and legs specifically, immobilizing the limbs while the rest of the body stays mobile.

Naming history note
The power was first SHOWN unnamed during the Donut Race (Ch. 307 p. 11, “Is that Devil Fruit power?!”); the fruit’s NAME (“Slow-Slow Fruit”) is first stated on-page Ch. 309 p. 6. Do not fork a “first_appearance @0307” — the 0307 slow-beam was attributed in-panel to the Foxy crew generally and is only retroactively confirmed as Foxy’s own fruit here. (Porche’s @0307 boat-flip remains unattributed; her devil_fruit: stays BLANK.)

Power limits & weaknesses
- The slowing effect lasts only ~30 seconds; speed returns fully afterward “as if nothing happened” (p. 7) — i.e., damage/effects accrued while slowed land at normal force once the timer expires. This is the Chekhov’s rulebook that defeats Foxy himself Ch. 317: Luffy’s accumulated rush all lands at the instant the slow expires (“ZERO!!” → KO) — see Noro Noro No Mi Thirty-Second-Window Speed-Returns-As-If-Nothing-Happened Chekhov Rulebook (PAID OFF @0317).
- The beam reflects off mirrors and slows whatever it strikes — INCLUDING THE USER. The mirror-reflection property (Ch. 316) lets a mirror bounce the beam back onto Foxy himself Ch. 317 (Luffy’s hidden afro-mirror), the decisive counter — the fruit has no friendly-fire immunity.
