Summary

Round 2 of the Davy Back Fight — the Groggy Ring — ends in a decisive Straw Hat win, with Sanji and Zoro standing triumphant over the fallen “Groggy Monsters” as the crowd roars (the referee finally blows the final whistle). As the second-round victors, the Straw Hats now have the right to take one Foxy Pirates member (or destroy their flag), and they reclaim Chopper — who is dragged back in tears. Nami then floats a cynical shortcut: if Foxy picks Luffy as a prize, the Straw Hats would forfeit, since a crew can’t fight a one-on-one Round 3 without its captain — a “peanut tactic” the crowd loudly boos as a violation of pirate ethics (“conflicts with pirate ethics again”). Luffy refuses to game it and the crew takes Chopper back instead. Foxy, weeping but undaunted, declares Round 3: Combat — a one-on-one duel between the two captains, with the harsh caveat that any crew member won in the final match can never be reclaimed. The contestants spin a cannon loaded with a steel ball to randomly determine the “battlefield”: a 50-meter-radius circle (100-meter circumference) around where the ball lands — which “by chance” comes to rest right beside Foxy’s own ship, the Sexy Foxy. The referee lays out the combat rules (only the two fighters may enter; any weapon inside the circle may be used; win by forcing your opponent out of the circle). Amid a carnival of warm-up matches, DBF merch stalls, flower-cheerleaders and Porche thanking Sanji, the main event is announced: Monkey D. Luffy (100 million berry bounty) versus Foxy “the Silver Fox,” undefeated across 920 consecutive matches, leader of a small East-Blue pirate crew. The fight bell rings and Combat begins. The volume’s SBS Question Corner closes the chapter (Enel’s lightning-attack-name etymology).

• The Groggy Ring (Round 2) ends in a Straw Hat victory — the “Groggy Monsters” (the Foxy side) fall; Sanji and Zoro stand victorious as the referee blows the final whistle (pp. 1–4).
• The Straw Hats reclaim Chopper. As second-round winners they have the right to take a Foxy member or destroy the flag; they take Chopper back (pp. 5–9).
