What we know

• Ch. 306: listed as one of the three games of this Davy Back Fight (the game-lineup is recorded in the Davy Back Fight note).
• Ch. 309 (rules dumped + game begins): Round 2 of the Davy Back Fight — a violent ball game. Rules (stated pp. 16–17): the field has two goals/rings; a team wins by putting “the ball” into the opposing ring — but the “ball” is not an object, it is a designated person (each team picks one of its own players to be the ball). All-out tackling/violence is implied (theme song “BOOM BOOM BAP,” the “indomitable Groggy Ring elite”). Finisher attack referenced as the “Monster Burger.”
• Ch. 309: Roster constraint — no substitutions: “You can’t change your lineup!!” (p. 15). Because the Straw Hats lost Chopper in Round 1, they enter the Groggy Ring with only two players (Zoro + Sanji) vs. the Foxy team’s three — “Team Foxy already has the advantage” (p. 16).
• Ch. 309: The “Groggy Monsters” — the Foxy Pirates’ Groggy Ring squad (pp. 17–18): Hamburg (the “four-footed dash freak”), Pickles (“the Tackle Machine”), and Big Pan (VIZ “Big Bun the Fish-Giant,” half fish-man / half giant).
• Ch. 309: Straw Hat “ball” — Sanji is designated the ball (wears the ball marker, pp. 17/19).
• Ch. 310 (game in action): rules clarified on the field —
  • the attacking ball-man starts in the opponents’ midfield circle (p. 5); win condition = force the opposing ball-man’s head into the opposite midfield ring (pp. 5, 9–10); no time limit, first goal wins (p. 10).
  • Weapons banned (“this is a ball game, you can’t have weapons!! Lose the swords!” — p. 8) — so Zoro plays without his swords — but interference/tackling is allowed (“interfering is allowed in this game too” — p. 6).
  • The Foxy team’s “Groggy Monsters” (Hamburg / Pickles / Big Pan) dominate the opening exchanges; the first goal attempt (a “Hamburger Dunk” of ball-man Sanji) is denied when Zoro and Sanji refuse to cooperate and break up the play themselves (pp. 18–20).
• Ch. 311 (game continues — “Rough Game”): both Zoro and Sanji are now designated ball-men (each in a ball-helmet) (pp. 3, 4, 8). A corrupt referee openly favors the Foxy side — ignores the Monsters’ bladed weapons / spiked shoes (“He just happened not to see it,” pp. 5–6) but yellow-cards Sanji for “attacking the ref” (pp. 6–7), establishing referee-as-active-cheating as part of the game’s rigged grammar. The Groggy Monsters dominate with the Small/Medium/Large “size attack” combo, Hamburg’s steel-cuff “Punk Spike” (p. 10), and Big Pan’s “Mudfish Slippery Slide” evasion (pp. 9–10). Stake restated: a win = the Foxy team’s “second victory,” conscripting a second Straw Hat (pp. 14–15).
