Summary

At the Human Auctioning House on the Sabaody Archipelago, the slave auction winds toward its finale. A World Noble — Saint Charlos — arrives with his father and sister, demanding a mermaid; the hall instantly defers because crossing a Celestial Dragon summons a Navy Admiral. Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Hatchan and Pappag are in the crowd planning to buy back the captive Camie with the 200-million-berry Thriller Bark treasure, but when Camie is brought out as the “star attraction,” Saint Charlos bids 500 million and wins her outright. As the Straw Hats despair, Luffy and Zoro crash through the wall riding a Flying Fish. Luffy charges for Camie’s tank; Hatchan tries to stop him and is outed as a fish-man, triggering a wave of public racism. Saint Charlos shoots Hatchan, then shoots him repeatedly while Hatchan apologizes to Nami for his past sins. Luffy steps over the bleeding Hatchan, ignores the crew’s reminder of the promise not to provoke the Celestial Dragons, walks up to Saint Charlos and punches him in the face.
