Human Auction House

Sabaody Archipelago (Grove 1) · first shown Ch. 501

Profile

The domed “HUMAN” hall at Grove 1 of the Sabaody Archipelago where the monthly Human Grand Auction is held (first shown Ch. 501 p. 4). Run by the auctioneer/manager Disco; the auction-house emblem is a sun-disc bearing the kanji 売 (“sell”) flanked by small jolly-roger skulls (p. 5). Slaves are held backstage and sold by a posted price list (p. 7); buyers include the Celestial Dragons, whose presence inside the hall makes any rescue-by-force impossible (Ch. 501 p. 14). The captured mermaid Camie is held here for sale (pp. 14-15). See Slavery.

Etymology

(Name origin if researched — the venue is literally a “human shop” / auction house for the World-Government-tolerated slave trade.)
