“St. Myosgard” · a World Noble (Celestial Dragon) · alive · first appeared Ch. 625

Profile

A World Noble (Celestial Dragon) whose ship is wrecked by the seafloor’s creatures and sinks to Fish-Man Island, his crew killed (data box, Ch. 625 p. 3). The sole survivor; he demands a mask, a doctor, and that the fish-men he calls “slaves” return him to the surface. The Celestial Dragon spared by a fish-man queen — and the first sympathetic-by-debt member of the caste in the FMI flashback.

Arc-by-arc updates

Egghead aftermath — executed at Sacred Mariejois (Ch. 1086)

  • In “the present day in Sacred Marijoa,” a single Celestial Dragon is publicly executed — captioned “the man he had executed, for protecting the fish-men… was St. Donquixote Mjosgard” (p. 15). The killing pays off Mjosgard’s Otohime-debt redemption arc (his Ch. 625/Ch. 907 turn toward defending fish-men) with his death at the hands of the Holy Knights. Sentence passed and carried out by St. Figarland Garling. See Celestial Dragons, Donquixote.

Reverie flashback (Ch. 1084)

  • Present at the Mingling-Courtyard confrontation; the Tontatta/Happo allies challenge him on the “double standard” of protecting royalty but not pirates (“Why the double standard, Myosgard?!”) (p. 13). (last_appearance HOLD Ch. 907 — flashback.)

Reverie aftermath — accused (Ch. 1054) — reported

  • Named (VIZ “St. Mjosgard”) in the accusation that he “let the attacker escape” after the attempt on St. Charlos (p. 17).

Reverie — named a Donquixote (Ch. 908) — mentioned, not shown

  • Referenced twice at the Reverie: the Fish-Man Island delegation credits “Myosgard” with saving Shirahoshi (p. 3); a Celestial Dragon names “Don Quixote Myosgard” as one of the “mad” Donquixote clan, “a Celestial Dragon without a single slave” (p. 6).
  • Second on-page attachment of the Donquixote surname to Myosgard (after the @0907 self-reveal “St. Don Quixote Mjosgard”). families: [[Families/Donquixote]] already set @0907.

Reverie — repays the Otohime debt (Ch. 907)

Fish-Man Island — Otohime flashback, first appearance (Ch. 625)

Notes

  • Name-pin: Characters/Saint Myosgard (matches the Saint Roswald / Saint Charlos / Saint Shalria convention). aliases:["St. Myosgard","Myosgard"].
  • Etymology resolved (see frontmatter etymology block): ミョスガルド = Mjölnir (Thor’s hammer) + Asgard (Norse realm of the gods); 聖 = the Saint honorific of the World Nobles. Confidence medium (wiki hedges the portmanteau).
