Profile
A man in beetle-style armor who lives on Bowin Island’s Glinston (“the forest of bandits”). He rescues Usopp from a man-eating plant and introduces himself proudly (“My name is Heracles-un! That’s a great name.”), warning Usopp to stay alert or lose his valuables and his life. Distinctive verbal tic: he ends sentences with “-un.”

- Etymology (high): named for the Greek hero Heracles (Roman Hercules). The beetle helmet/armor is styled after the horns of the Western Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules); this deliberately mirrors Usopp, whose motif is the kabuto / Japanese rhinoceros beetle (Allomyrina dichotoma) — two beetles, two characters.
