Beaten by the Rosy Life Riders; had stolen the Straw Hats’/Camie’s belongings, which Duval recovers and returns (p. 6). Referred to as “that idiot Peterman.”

Sabaody Archipelago (Ch. 500)

Named again as the trafficker who captured Camie and delivered her to Disco’s Human Auction Hall — “Peterman does good work” / “Good work, Peterman!” (pp. 13, 17). Operates the kidnapping side of the Sabaody slave trade.

Sabaody Archipelago — Camie’s abduction (Ch. 499)

Buys information from bounty hunters that Straw Hat Luffy is travelling with a mermaid (Camie) on land — “the chance of a lifetime,” since mermaids are nearly impossible to catch at sea (p. 3).
Orchestrates Camie’s abduction to sell her into slavery — “she’ll be a slave for life” (pp. 18-19). The kidnapping triggers the crew’s rescue effort and seeds the Sabaody slave-auction payoff. See Slavery.
