The seed

An explicit clock on the raid: the fire/armory/island-drop must be resolved before catastrophe. The seed is planted here; the payoff develops forward (anti-spoiler: do NOT resolve in this window — window.hi = 1037).

Earliest known caller

(Not yet attributed.)

Why this matters

A dense chekhov-explicit / prop-tell stack: a dying villain’s last theatrical act (the Kazenbo flame) is planted in the same beats as the hidden weapons cache and the descending fortress, so a single prop becomes the detonator for the whole raid’s endgame. Likely also pays off Kanjuro’s long-established “drawings come to life” power . Cross-link New Onigashima Project, Kurozumi, Orochi.

Name etymology — the name is itself a seed (technique/name-etymology)
