Summary

On the Skull Dome rooftop, Kid and Law have crushed Big Mom under magnetized iron beams — Big Mom probes the secret of Kid’s awakened Magnet-Magnet Fruit, then turns her own Soul Pocus on herself, spending a full year of her life span to grow giant, heal, and acknowledge the pair as worthy challengers for an Emperor’s seat. On the Live Floor, X Drake battles Scratchmen Apoo (who has “cut all ties with Kaido” and tries to defect to Yamato’s side) and his three Numbers; Yamato smashes past everyone, racing to stop Onigashima and the Flower Capital from being destroyed. On the second floor, Robin and Brook (“Baron Corpse”) flee with their mink guards from CP0’s elite masked agents — the same ones Robin saw at Dressrosa. The chapter’s heart is Sanji vs Queen: terrified that the dormant Germa science in his body is awakening (his body “itched,” and a beaten geisha was found where he’d been), Sanji crushes his raid suit and vows never to be a Germa soldier — then secretly calls Zoro on a planted snail to ask Zoro to kill him if his finisher leaves him “not in my right mind.” Zoro agrees (“don’t die before then”), and Sanji re-engages Queen.
