Summary
In Chocolat Town on Cacao Island (p. 2), a panicked populace greets the arriving Charlotte Pudding and Chiffon; Pudding announces that Whole Cake Island has sent its 31 head chefs (the “WCI 31”) to bake a fresh wedding cake to soothe Big Mom’s country-leveling craving-illness rampage — triggered when the wedding was “ruined by the assault from Straw Hat Luffy and Bege’s betrayal” (p. 3–4). Inside the Sweets Factory, Pudding reveals she has used her Memo Memo no Mi to erase the cooks’ memories of the wedding incident: they now believe the wedding happened and that she and Sanji are married (p. 7) — letting her smuggle Sanji in as the secret head chef (p. 5). By scent alone, Sanji reproduces Chef Streusen’s week-long secret recipe (p. 6–7); the team (Sanji directing, Pudding tempering chocolate, Chiffon baking the chiffon cake, Streusen performing the “secret step”) sets a brutal timetable to finish the “ultimate cake” before the Sunny is reached (p. 8–9). Meanwhile in the Mirro-World, a recovering Katakuri, Brulee, and a burned-but-alive Perospero (gloating over Pedro’s death) direct soldiers through mirrors to burn the Thousand Sunny as Big Mom chases it (p. 10–11). Luffy bursts from a mirror, tramples through Charlotte siblings Joscarpone and Mascarpone, seizes a mirror and reaches Nami (p. 12–13). On the fleeing Sunny, Nami fights off Big Mom’s forces pouring through the ship’s mirrors with flaming arrows and cannon fire, smashing every mirror she can (p. 14–16); the chapter ends as Big Mom conjures a tidal wave threatening to swamp the Sunny (p. 17).
New reveals
- Pudding’s memory-wipe of the chefs: she used the Memo Memo no Mi to remove “the big incident from all the cooks’ memories” — they think the wedding happened and that she and Sanji are “m-married”; their memories of the first cake remain fresh, so the recipe can be rebuilt (p. 7).
- Sanji as the hidden head chef: smuggled in past the chefs (“now they won’t spot Sanji dear inside,” p. 5), he identifies ingredients by scent and reproduces Streusen’s secret recipe so faithfully a chef gasps “It’s even got the secret ingredient Chef Streusen spent a week coming up with!!” (p. 6–7).
- The WCI 31 — Whole Cake Island’s 31 head chefs — were dispatched to the Sweets Factory; baking the cake is “of utmost importance to the survival of this nation” (p. 4).
- Perospero survived Pedro’s self-detonation, badly burned; he gloats “So long, Pedro!! Did you hear that, Straw Hat?!” (p. 10), while Katakuri — holding up the burned Perospero — concedes Pedro’s “brave stand has saved his crew” (p. 11).
- Katakuri is being roused/repaired in the Mirro-World and, with Brulee, coordinates mirror-soldier raids to torch the Sunny (p. 10–11).
- New Charlotte siblings: Joscarpone (28th daughter) and Mascarpone (34th son), guarding mirrors when Luffy bursts through (p. 12).
- Big Mom chases the Sunny at sea and raises a tidal wave to sink it (p. 14, 17).

- Will the substitute cake reach the Sunny and calm Big Mom in time — and what is Streusen’s “secret step”?
- Can the Sunny survive Big Mom’s tidal wave and the ongoing mirror raids?
- How does Luffy get back to the ship, and will the agreed Luffy–Katakuri one-on-one finally happen?
