Summary
Aboard the Thousand Sunny in the rain, Brook, Chopper, and Nami break down over Pedro’s death while Jinbe steers and insists they cannot lower their guard — Pedro’s self-sacrifice dealt the enemy a real blow and is why Luffy took on the billion-berry Katakuri alone. Nami takes command, plotting a westward course on the wind to rendezvous with Sanji’s group from Cacao Island, when Big Mom herself comes walking across the sea at six o’clock, borne on a giant candy sea slug since Zeus is gone; she reveals she lost her right hand to Pedro and means to settle the score with his crewmates. Off another stretch of Totto Land, the castaway Pound spots his daughter Chiffon, and the cast learns Lola of Thriller Bark was Cacao Island’s former Minister of Chocolate — a post Pudding has refused out of respect — as Sanji and Pudding ride a flying carpet to Chocolat Town to bake a replacement wedding cake. In the Mirro-World, Luffy’s duel with Katakuri begins in earnest: the Sweet General mirrors and out-performs every rubber technique Luffy throws, capping the chapter by hurling Luffy’s own Elephant Gun back at him, bigger.

- Katakuri is “the strongest man in the Sweet 3 Generals” — page 11.
- Big Mom lost her right hand, which she blames on Pedro (“that hateful jaguar mink”); she will fashion a candy replacement and vows to torment Pedro’s companions — page 8.
- Big Mom walks across the sea on a giant “candy sea slug” homie because Zeus is missing (“Now where did Zeus go?! It’s his job to help Mama cross the sea!!”) — pages 6–7.

Open questions raised
- Will Sanji and Pudding’s replacement wedding cake actually calm Big Mom’s craving-illness and stop her pursuit?
- How is Katakuri reading Luffy’s attacks so perfectly — and why has he not yet shown his face?
- What became of Zeus, and will his absence slow Big Mom’s chase?
- What is Pound doing adrift at sea, and will he factor into the Cacao Island plan?
