Summary

In the Whole Cake Chateau, Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin) gloats in her sleep over tomorrow’s wedding — by which she will have “Germa’s power,” the Tamate Box, and the grrreatest wedding cake imaginable — until a Den Den Mushi alarm reports an infiltrator near the treasure repository. The intruder is a fast, explosive-throwing raider that Baron Tamago and (by snail) General Smoothie chase through the castle’s pastry-themed floors. It turns out to be a two-pronged op: Pedro ran a decoy while Brook slipped into the locked Chambre de Treasure. Cornered by the Chess Peacekeepers — homie-soldiers carrying inserted human souls — Brook reveals his “Soul King” epithet and a Soul-Scream attack that knocks the soul-driven soldiers off their feet; their handlers want him captured alive because “Mama desires” the rare creature “le Bones.” Meanwhile Sanji, in his guest room, resolves to go through with the marriage to save the Baratie and free his captured crewmates, psyching himself into his cheerful “cook of love” self for Pudding. In Pudding’s room an attendant reveals Nami used “Sister Lola’s” vivre card to overpower the homies of the Seducing Woods, and lays out the dress and post-ceremony plans Big Mom has chosen for the unwilling bride. Finally Pudding visits Luffy and Nami in the Prison Library: she apologizes for missing their shore rendezvous, says she will not marry Sanji because her presence only causes everyone pain, whispers a secret to them — then, with a complicated tearful smile, says “Goodbye.”
