Profile
Something/someone kept at a castle in the Elbaf interior. The New Giant Pirates call to it — “RODO!! Are you in there?!” (p. 5) — and say “Rodo creates intruders all on his own!! …Intruders have to be caught” (p. 4). Nature unknown @1130 (a guardian beast/deity, or a captive). Named-not-shown.
Arc-by-arc updates
Elbaf — “ULTRA-RARE GERD!!” (Ch. 1182) — shown
- Fawns over the injured Gerd in collector-speak (“OOOOH! ULTRA-RARE GERD!! My precious has chopped fingers!! Am I dreaming?! Is this official?!… I am unworthy of the gift of your sharp tongue!!”, p. 10; “I have an excess of ultrarare Gerd!! ♥”, p. 11).
- Gerd credits him with risking his life for his brother Bjorn (p. 11 — the rescue itself is prior-window); he “squirts blood when he gets excited” (p. 11).
Elbaf — “Dawn Thor Rifle” (Ch. 1175) — shown (likely)
- (
last_appearance1172→1175 — SHOWN (likely); HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — his brother Bjorn among the hostages (Ch. 1172) — shown
- Learns his brother Bjorn is among the hostage children and rushes to the rescue (p.9): “Bjorn’s there?!!” In the closing beat a bespectacled giant (very likely Rodo) declares “I’ve got a plan” as the rescue team catches the hostage line (p.17). (Inference on the final-panel identity — flag for verify.)
- (
last_appearance1141→1172 — SHOWN; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — the goggled navigator in the Underworld (Ch. 1141) — shown
- Accompanies Luffy and Zoro to free Loki; identifies the cuffs as sea-prism stone and warns that an “Oars-sized super-giant” running loose would be “a major problem, even for Elbaph” (pp. 9–10). The panicked village giants say “we made Rodo spill the beans!!” (p. 15).
- (
last_appearance1140→1141 — SHOWN; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — at Aurust Castle during the Gaban fight (Ch. 1140) — shown
- Guides/watches the Straw Hats at Aurust Castle; shouts “Look out, Luffy!!” during the Scopper Gaban fight and notes Gaban is “u-ultra rare” (pp.6, 10).
- (
last_appearance1139→1140 — SHOWN; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — the castle-guide meets “Sir Ya” (Ch. 1139) — shown
- Carries Luffy’s party through Aurust Castle; mistakes Scopper Gaban on the throne for a ghost and flees, dropping everyone (Zoro’s swords scatter); recognizes him as beloved “Sir Ya”; on Gaban’s instruction pushes the throne to open the hidden treasure chamber. (pp. 2–12.)
- (
last_appearance1137→1139 — SHOWN;related_characters+= Scopper Gaban; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — the castle-guide; befriended by young Hajrudin (Ch. 1137) — shown
- (
last_appearance1136→1137 — SHOWN;aliases+= “Rodo the nerd”;related_characters+= Luffy; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131 — do NOT relock fa to this “first clear depiction.”)
Elbaf — at the giants’ feast (Ch. 1136) — shown
- A comedic giant at the welcome feast who fervently idolizes Nika; described as near-sighted (“my eyesight is poor, I doubt I would even be able to tell [the treasure is] gone”). Another giant: “I won’t defend whatever that moron Rodo was doing!! …idolizing Nika growing up” (pp. 5, 8, 13). Drunk at the feast and part of the heist-cover crowd as the Straw Hats lift a treasure from the castle.
- (
last_appearance1132→1136 — SHOWN; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — the Livedoll collector (Ch. 1132) — shown
- A compulsive collector who hoards captured “little humans” as “livedolls” — “Come back to me, my perfect little livedolls!! …my ultra-rare Nami! And ultra-rare Chopper!” (p.10). He had captured Straw Hats in his Underworld castle and tried to lock them up “more securely than before” before they escaped to the Sun World; knocked out by Zoro & Sanji and clubbed by Gerd, who calls him a “freak” (pp. 10–11). A comedic-creepy minor antagonist; the @1130 “Rodo’s castle” / “Rodo creates intruders” lines now resolve as this collector

last_appearance1131→1132; HOLD fm 1130 / fa 1131.)
Elbaf — first SHOWN: the New Giant Pirates’ navigator (Ch. 1131)
- First on-page appearance. Named in the full New Giant Pirates roster panel (pp. 14–15) as the crew’s Navigator — one of Hajrudin’s five giants, the generation after Dorry & Brogy. Resolves the @1130 ambiguity (the patrolling crew’s “Rodo’s castle” / “Rodo creates intruders” referred to their own navigator).
- First mention. “Rodo’s” castle and “Rodo” itself are referenced by the patrolling New Giant Pirates (Goldberg, Gerd); nature unknown.
Notes
- Etymology: “Rodo” (ロード Rōdo) — references the Road Warriors pro-wrestling tag team, per the wrestler-naming theme Oda gives Elbaf giants (Goldberg ← Bill Goldberg, Stansen ← Stan Hansen). See
